Abstract
【解決手段】圧電基板30と、圧電基板30の主面に配置された弾性波共振子S1と、を備え、弾性波共振子S1は、第1IDT電極55と、第1IDT電極55に電気的に接続された第2IDT電極56とに分割して配置されたものであり、第1IDT電極55は、信号入力側の第1櫛歯状電極25と、信号出力側の第2櫛歯状電極26を含むとともに、第2IDT電極56は、信号入力側の第3櫛歯状電極27と、信号出力側の第4櫛歯状電極28とを含み、第3櫛歯状電極27および第4櫛歯状電極28は、第3櫛歯状電極27から第4櫛歯状電極28に向けて配置されている方向が、第1櫛歯状電極25から第2櫛歯状電極26に向けて配置されている方向と異なる。

Description
上記第1の実施形態に係るSAW素子51の直列共振子S1(図3)と同様の構成からなる実施例1の2種類の共振子A1、A2および参照用の共振子R1を作製し、これらの共振子について歪波の一種である2次高調波H2を測定した。
上記第1の実施形態に係るSAW素子51の直列共振子S1(図3)と同様の構成からなる4種類の共振子B1、B2、B3、B4を作製し、これらについて2次高調波(H2)を測定した。
上記第2の実施形態に係るSAW素子53の直列共振子S101(図7)と同様の構成からなる共振子C1、図8に示した比較用のSAW素子54の直列共振子S101と同様の構成からなる比較例の共振子Coおよび参照用の共振子R2を作製し、これらの共振子について2次高調波H2を測定した。
Claims (19)
- 圧電基板と、
該圧電基板の主面に配置された弾性波共振子とを備え、
該弾性波共振子は、第1IDT電極と、該第1IDT電極に電気的に接続された第2IDT電極とに分割して配置されたものであり、
前記第1IDT電極は、信号入力側の第1櫛歯状電極と、信号出力側の第2櫛歯状電極とを含むとともに、前記第2IDT電極は、信号入力側の第3櫛歯状電極と、信号出力側の第4櫛歯状電極とを含み、
前記第3櫛歯状電極および前記第4櫛歯状電極は、前記第3櫛歯状電極から前記第4櫛歯状電極に向けて配置されている方向が、前記第1櫛歯状電極から前記第2櫛歯状電極に向けて配置されている方向と異なる弾性波素子。 - 前記第1櫛歯状電極に電気的に接続された信号入力配線と、前記第2櫛歯状電極に電気的に接続された信号出力配線とをさらに備え、
前記第1IDT電極は、前記第1櫛歯状電極が前記第3櫛歯状電極に電気的に接続されているとともに、前記第2櫛歯状電極が前記第4櫛歯状電極に電気的に接続されていることにより、前記第2IDT電極と電気的に並列接続されている請求項1に記載の弾性波素子。 - 前記第1櫛歯状電極に電気的に接続された信号入力配線と、前記第4櫛歯状電極に電気的に接続された信号出力配線とをさらに備え、
前記第1IDT電極は、前記第2櫛歯状電極が前記第3櫛歯状電極に電気的に接続されていることにより、前記第2IDT電極と電気的に直列接続されている請求項1に記載の弾性波素子。 - 前記第1IDT電極は、
前記第1櫛歯状電極が、第1バスバー電極と、該第1バスバー電極に接続されて前記第2櫛歯状電極側に向かって延びている複数の第1電極指とを有するとともに、
前記第2櫛歯状電極が、前記第1バスバー電極に対向して配置されている第2バスバー電極と、前記第2バスバー電極に接続されて前記第1櫛歯状電極側に向かって延びているとともに前記第1電極指に隣り合う部分を有する複数の第2電極指とを有し、
前記第2IDT電極は、
前記第3櫛歯状電極が、第3バスバー電極と、該第3バスバー電極に接続されて前記第4櫛歯状電極側に向かって延びている複数の第3電極指とを有するとともに、
前記第4櫛歯状電極が、前記第3バスバー電極に対向して配置された第4バスバー電極と、該第4バスバー電極に接続されて前記第3櫛歯状電極側に向かって延びているとともに前記第3電極指に隣り合う部分を有する複数の第4電極指とを有している請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の弾性波素子。 - 前記第1IDT電極は、前記第1バスバー電極に接続されて前記第2電極指の先端に対して第1ギャップを有する位置に先端が位置している複数の第1ダミー電極指と、前記第2バスバー電極に接続されて前記第1電極指の先端に対して第2ギャップを有する位置に先端が位置している複数の第2ダミー電極指とを有し、
前記第2IDT電極は、前記第3バスバー電極に接続されて前記第4電極指の先端に対して第3ギャップを有する位置に先端が位置している複数の第3ダミー電極指と、前記第4バスバー電極に接続されて前記第3電極指の先端に対して第4ギャップを有する位置に先端が位置している複数の第4ダミー電極指とを有している請求項4に記載の弾性波素子。 - 前記第1IDT電極は、前記第1櫛歯状電極および前記第2櫛歯状電極が配置された方向に対して垂直な方向に第1弾性波を伝搬させるとともに、
前記第2IDT電極は、前記第3櫛歯状電極および前記第4櫛歯状電極が配置された方向に対して垂直な方向に第2弾性波を伝搬させ、
前記第2IDT電極は、前記第2弾性波が前記第1弾性波に沿うように前記第1IDT電極に対して配置されており、
前記第1IDT電極および前記第2IDT電極の間には、前記第1弾性波または前記第2弾性波を反射する反射器電極がさらに配置されている請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の弾性波素子。 - 前記反射器電極は、前記第1IDT電極側に配置された第1反射器電極と、前記第2IDT電極側に配置された第2反射器電極とを有しているとともに、前記第1反射器電極および前記第2反射器電極の間を通って前記第1IDT電極および前記第2IDT電極に電気的に接続する接続配線を有している請求項6に記載の弾性波素子。
- 前記第1IDT電極および前記第2IDT電極は、前記反射器電極を介して電気的に接続されている請求項6に記載の弾性波素子。
- 前記第1バスバー電極および前記第3バスバー電極が前記反射器電極に電気的に接続されていることにより、前記第1IDT電極および前記第2IDT電極が電気的に接続されている請求項2を引用する請求項4を引用する請求項8に記載の弾性波素子。
- 前記反射器電極は、
前記第1IDT電極側に配置された第1反射器電極と、前記第2IDT電極側に配置された第2反射器電極とを有しているとともに、
前記第1IDT電極において前記第1反射器電極とは前記第1弾性波が伝搬する方向に対して反対側に位置する第3反射器電極と、
前記第2IDT電極において前記第2反射器電極とは前記第2弾性波が伝搬する方向に対して反対側に位置する第4反射器電極とをさらに有し、
前記第2櫛歯状電極および前記第4櫛歯状電極は、前記第3反射器電極を介して電気的に接続されている請求項9に記載の弾性波素子。 - 前記第4櫛歯状電極および前記第4反射器電極が電気的に接続されている請求項10に記載の弾性波素子。
- 前記第1IDT電極は、前記第1櫛歯状電極および前記第2櫛歯状電極が配置された方向に対して垂直な方向に第1弾性波を伝搬させるとともに、
前記第2IDT電極は、前記第3櫛歯状電極および前記第4櫛歯状電極が配置された方向に対して垂直な方向に第2弾性波を伝搬させ、
前記第2IDT電極は、前記第2弾性波が前記第1弾性波に沿うように前記第1IDT電極に対して配置されており、
前記第2櫛歯状電極および前記第3櫛歯状電極が隣接するとともに、該第3櫛歯状電極側に位置する前記第2電極指と、前記第2櫛歯状電極側に位置する前記第3電極指とが隣接している請求項4に記載の弾性波素子。 - 前記圧電基板上に位置して前記第1IDT電極と前記第2IDT電極との間に配置された、偶数本の電極指を有する反射器電極を備え、
前記第1IDT電極の前記第2IDT電極側の端部に位置する電極指と、前記第2IDT電極の前記第1IDT電極側の端部に位置する電極指との極性が異なっている請求項12に記載の弾性波素子。 - 前記圧電基板上に位置して前記第1IDT電極と前記第2IDT電極との間に配置された、奇数本の電極指を有する反射器電極を備え、
前記第1IDT電極の前記第2IDT電極側の端部に位置する電極指と、前記第2IDT電極の前記第1IDT電極側の端部に位置する電極指との極性が同じである請求項12に記載の弾性波素子。 - 前記第1IDT電極は、前記第1櫛歯状電極から前記第2櫛歯状電極に向かう方向が、前記圧電基板の結晶方位であるZ軸方向の成分を持つ請求項1〜14のいずれかに記載の弾性波素子。
- 前記第2IDT電極は、前記第1IDT電極と形状および大きさが同じである請求項1〜15のいずれかに記載の弾性波素子。
- アンテナ端子と、送信信号をフィルタリングして前記アンテナ端子に出力する送信フィルタと、前記アンテナ端子からの受信信号をフィルタリングする受信フィルタとを備えた分波器であって、
前記送信フィルタは、請求項1〜16のいずれか1項に記載の弾性波素子を有する分波器。 - 前記送信フィルタは、第2弾性波共振子を複数有しているとともに前記弾性波共振子および複数の前記第2弾性波共振子によりラダー型フィルタを構成しており、
前記弾性波共振子は、前記第2弾性波共振子よりも前記アンテナ端子側に位置している請求項17に記載の分波器。 - アンテナと、
該アンテナに電気的に接続された請求項17または18に記載の分波器と、
該分波器に電気的に接続されたRF−ICとを備える通信モジュール。
