Abstract
【解決手段】液滴を吐出するノズル4が通じる個別液室6を形成する流路板2と、個別液室2の一部の壁面を形成する振動板部材3と、振動板部材3に設けられた下部電極13、圧電体層12及び上部電極14で構成される圧電素子11とを備え、振動板部材3上に温度を測定する温度検出部80が配置され、温度検出部80は振動板部材3上に形成された電極層81で構成され、電極層81上には圧電素子11を構成する圧電体層12と同じ圧電体層82が形成されている。

液滴を吐出するノズルが通じる個別液室を形成する流路板と、
前記個別液室の一部の壁面を形成する振動板部材と、
前記振動板部材に設けられた下部電極、圧電体及び上部電極で構成される圧電素子と、を備え、
前記振動板部材上に温度を検出する温度検出手段が配置され、
前記温度検出手段は前記振動板部材上に形成された電極層で構成され、
前記温度検出手段を構成する電極層上には圧電体層が形成されている
構成とした。

Claims (6)
- 液滴を吐出するノズルが通じる個別液室を形成する流路板と、
前記個別液室の一部の壁面を形成する振動板部材と、
前記振動板部材に設けられた下部電極、圧電体及び上部電極で構成される圧電素子と、を備え、
前記振動板部材上に温度を検出する温度検出手段が配置され、
前記温度検出手段は前記振動板部材上に形成された電極層で構成され、
前記温度検出手段を構成する電極層上には圧電体層が形成されている
ことを特徴とする液体吐出ヘッド。 - 前記圧電体層が前記圧電体を形成する層と同じ層であり、
前記電極層が前記下部電極を形成する層と同じ層であって、
前記電極層は前記圧電体層を耐エッチング層として形成されている
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液体吐出ヘッド。 - 前記温度検出手段を構成する電極層には、前記圧電体層の端面から延伸された配線引出し部が一体に形成され、
前記配線引出し部には電極配線が接続されている
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液体吐出ヘッド。 - 前記圧電体層上には絶縁膜が形成され、
前記絶縁膜は、前記配線引出し部と前記電極配線との接続部を除く、前記配線引出し部の表面も被覆している
ことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の液体吐出ヘッド。 - 請求項2に記載の液体吐出ヘッドを製造する方法であって、
前記振動板部材上に前記下部電極とする層を形成するステップと、
前記下部電極を形成する層上に前記圧電体とする層を形成するステップと、
前記圧電体とする層を加工して、前記圧電体及び前記圧電体層を形成するステップと、
前記圧電体層を耐エッチング層として、前記下部電極とする層をエッチングして、前記電極層を形成するステップと、を行う
こと特徴とする液体吐出ヘッドの製造方法。 - 請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載の液体吐出ヘッドを備えていることを特徴とする画像形成装置。
