Abstract
Description
Claims (14)
- 石炭を処理して低灰分の石炭を得るプロセスであって、
(i)高灰分炭を、超音波又はマイクロ波を用いて前処理ユニットにおいて前処理するステップと、
(ii)ある量のエチレンジアミン(EDA)又はモノエタノールアミン(MEA)を含むN−メチル−2−ピロリドン(NMP)での石炭微粉のスラリーを形成するステップであって、NMPとEDA又はMEAとの比が1:1〜20:1の溶液の範囲で変動し得、該スラリーが石炭1gにつき約10〜25mlの溶液を含有しているステップと、
(iii)該スラリーを還流条件において約170〜190℃の温度で約15分〜2時間維持するステップと、
(iv)還流溶液を、0.025mmフィルタークロスの粗ろ過によって、ろ液又は抽出物と、残留物とからなる2つ部分に分離するステップと、
(v)該抽出物を蒸発させることによって最高で85%の該溶媒を回収するステップと、
(v)濃縮抽出物に任意の逆溶媒又は水を添加することによって該石炭を沈澱させるステップと、
(vi)低減された灰分を有する該石炭をろ過によって分離するステップと、
(vii)逆溶媒(水)−溶媒溶液を蒸留することによって該溶媒の残りを回収するステップとを含む、プロセス。 - 前記石炭が、粗鉱炭(run of mine coal)を含む、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記石炭が、準強粘結炭(medium coking coal)を含む、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記石炭が、物理的選鉱後の精炭を含む、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記粒子サイズが、好ましくは、2mm以下、0.5mm以下、より好ましくは0.25mm以下、又は要求に応じた任意の微細サイズである、請求項2に記載のプロセス。
- 1%未満の灰分を有するウルトラ低灰分精炭又はスーパー精炭が、前記還流溶液を微細ろ過することによって生成される、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 0.2%未満の灰分(Whattmanろ紙を通してろ過した場合)を有する前記ウルトラ低灰分精炭又はスーパー精炭が、グラファイト、液体燃料、芳香族高分子、カーボンナノチューブなどの炭素材料の製造に使用することができる、請求項6に記載のプロセス。
- 12%未満の灰分を有する中灰分精炭が、前記還流溶液を粗ろ過することによって生成される、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 8%未満の灰分を有する前記中灰分精炭が、コークス作製並びに鉄鋼業及び発電の高炉吹き込みに使用することができる、請求項8に記載のプロセス。
- 99%の前記溶媒の回収が実現される、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 8%以下の灰分を有する低灰分精炭が、石炭を超音波処理で前処理した後に抽出することによって生成される、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 8%以下の灰分を有する前記低灰分精炭が、石炭をマイクロ波で前処理した後に抽出することによって生成される、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 8%以下の灰分を有する前記低灰分精炭が、前処理せずに石炭を溶媒抽出するプロセスによって生成される、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記低灰分精炭が、室温溶解により石炭を溶媒抽出するプロセスによって生成される、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
