- 二次電池の過電流保護装置であって、
電池モジュールと発電機の間の連結を1次的にON/OFFさせる主リレー;
前記主リレーと並列に連結し、前記電池モジュールと前記発電機の間の連結を2次的にON/OFFさせる補助リレー;
前記補助リレーと直列に連結する電流制限抵抗;および
過電流の検出によって前記電池モジュールを保護する制御機;を含み、前記制御機は
前記電池モジュールが前記発電機によって充電される正常状態において、前記主リレーはON、前記補助リレーはOFFさせ、
前記過電流が検出されれば、前記補助リレーをONさせた後に前記主リレーをOFFさせ、前記電流制限抵抗を通じて制限された電流が流れるようにすることを特徴とする二次電池の過電流保護装置。 - 前記制御機は、前記補助リレーがONになった後、一定時間内に一定値以上の電流が検出されれば、前記補助リレーをOFFさせることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の二次電池の過電流保護装置。
- 前記電流制限抵抗の抵抗値は可変することを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の二次電池の過電流保護装置。
- 前記電流制限抵抗は10Ω〜100Ωの間の抵抗値を有することを特徴とする、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の二次電池の過電流保護装置。

- 二次電池の過電流保護方法であって、
電池モジュールが発電機によって充電される正常状態において、前記電池モジュールと前記発電機の間の連結を1次的にON/OFFさせる主リレーをON、前記電池モジュールと前記発電機の間の連結を2次的にON/OFFさせる補助リレーをOFFさせるステップ;
前記電池モジュールと前記発電機の間に過電流を検出するステップ;および
前記過電流が検出されれば、前記補助リレーをONさせた後に前記主リレーをOFFさせ、電流制限抵抗を通じて制限された電流が流れるようにするステップ;を含むことを特徴とする二次電池の過電流保護方法。 - 前記補助リレーがONになった後、一定時間内に一定値以上の電流が検出されれば、前記補助リレーをOFFさせるステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の二次電池の過電流保護方法。
