Abstract
【解決手段】溶融ガラスGを内部に流通させるフィーダー3において、フィーダー3の内部空間Sに、溶融ガラスGを加熱すると共に、溶融ガラスGの流れ方向に沿って配置された電気発熱体6を備え、電気発熱体6から溶融ガラスの表面Gaに至る熱の伝熱経路に、溶融ガラスGに対する直接の伝熱を制限する制限部7を設けた。

Claims (4)
- 溶融ガラスを内部に流通させるフィーダーにおいて、
前記フィーダーの内部空間に、前記溶融ガラスを加熱すると共に、前記溶融ガラスの流れ方向に沿って配置された電気発熱体を備え、
前記電気発熱体から前記溶融ガラスの表面に至る熱の伝熱経路に、前記溶融ガラスに対する直接の伝熱を制限する制限部を設けたことを特徴とするフィーダー。 - 前記制限部は、前記電気発熱体と前記溶融ガラスの表面との間に介在させた板状部材であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフィーダー。
- 前記電気発熱体は、前記フィーダーの内部空間における幅方向の側方に配置され、
前記板状部材は、前記フィーダーの内周壁における側部から前記フィーダーの内周壁における底部に沿って幅方向の中央に向かって延びていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のフィーダー。 - 前記フィーダーの内周壁における底部に、前記溶融ガラスをガラス繊維に成形するためのブッシングを備えることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のフィーダー。
