Description
Claims (24)
- 長手方向軸に沿って遠位先端部から近位端へと延在する生分解性内部心材と、
前記心材3の長さの一部に沿って前記心材を囲繞し、エネルギー源によって活性化されたときに軟化して周囲の骨組織へと侵入する素材で形成される熱可塑性ポリマーを含むスリーブと
を備える固定装置。 - 前記生分解性内部心材は生分解性の金属内部心材である請求項1に係る固定装置。
- 前記心材がマグネシウム又はマグネシウム合金を含む請求項2に係る固定装置。
- 前記心材が鉄合金を含む請求項2に係る固定装置。
- 前記心材がバルク金属ガラスを含む請求項2に係る固定装置。
- 前記バルク金属ガラスがMgCaZnのタイプである請求項5に係る固定装置。
- 前記バルク金属ガラスが、Mg63Zn32Ca5、Mg60Zn35Ca5、Mg32Zn5Ca、Mg35Zn5Caのうちいずれか一つである請求項5に係る固定装置。
- 前記心材が非バルク金属ガラスを含む請求項1又は2に係る固定装置。
- 前記非バルク金属ガラスがMg6ZnZr、Mg3AlZn、MgAl9Zn、Mg3Al0.4Mn、Mg6Al0.2Zn、MgYRe(Re=希土類)、Mg4Zn1.7Ce0.6Zrのうちいずれか一つである請求項8に係る固定装置。
- 前記非バルク金属ガラスが硬質陽極酸化又はマイクロアーク酸化(MAO)によって処理された表面を有する請求項8に係る固定装置。
- 前記熱可塑性ポリマーは生分解性である請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に係る固定装置。
- 前記心材は中空である請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に係る固定装置。
- 前記心材の前記遠位先端部は先細でありかつ前記スリーブの遠位端を遠位方向に過ぎて延在する請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に係る固定装置。
- 前記スリーブは、光を回折する金属微粒子又は有機色素微粒子を含む請求項1〜13のいずれか一項に係る固定装置。
- 前記固定装置に取り付けられる縫合糸をさらに備える請求項1〜14のいずれか一項に係る固定装置。
- 前記内部心材は、前記内部心材を横方向に貫通して縫合糸を収容する貫通孔を備える請求項1〜15のいずれか一項に係る固定装置。
- 前記スリーブは、前記スリーブを横方向に貫通する貫通開口部を有して、前記貫通開口部は前記内部心材の貫通孔と一直線に並びかつ前記内部心材の前記貫通孔と連通する請求項1〜16のいずれか一項に係る固定装置。
- 前記内部心材の前記近位端に取り付け可能であるエンドキャップであって、前記エンドキャップを横方向に貫通して前記縫合糸を収容する通り穴を有してなるエンドキャップを備える請求項15に係る固定装置。
- 前記内部心材は、前記縫合糸を前記固定装置に取り付けるためのフックを前記内部心材の近位端に備える請求項15に係る固定装置。
- 前記固定装置は骨アンカー又は骨ねじである請求項1〜19のいずれか一項に係る固定装置。
- 前記エネルギー源は、放射線装置、レーザ、熱源、電磁場、光源、又は超音波装置のいずれか一つである請求項1〜20のいずれか一項に係る固定装置。
- 固定装置を骨に挿入する方法であって、前記方法は、
a)固定装置の内部心材の遠位先端部を骨の目標部分に押し付けることによって前記固定装置を前記骨の目標部分に挿入する工程であって、前記内部心材は前記固定装置の長手方向軸に沿ってその遠位先端部から近位端まで延在し、前記固定装置は前記内部心材の長さの一部に沿って前記内部心材の周囲に延在するスリーブをさらに備えてなる工程と、
b)前記スリーブに活性化エネルギーを照射して前記スリーブの熱可塑性ポリマーを軟化させ、前記スリーブを前記スリーブの周囲の骨組織へと侵入させ、前記固定装置を前記骨組織内に固定させるために前記スリーブを部分的に溶融させる工程と
を含む方法。 - 前記固定装置が骨アンカー又は骨ねじである請求項22に記載の方法。
- 前記活性化エネルギーの照射は、放射線装置、レーザ、熱源、電磁場、光源又は超音波装置を用いてなされる請求項22又は23に記載の方法。
