Abstract
【解決手段】各気筒内に燃料を噴射するインジェクタ11と、通電により発熱して各気筒を昇温するグロープラグ13と、エンジン始動時に駆動するスタータモータ40と、インジェクタ11、グロープラグ13、スタータモータ40を制御するECU70とを備え、ECU70は、アイドルストップ時に気筒#1のピストンを圧縮下死点で停止させると共にグロープラグ13の通電を開始し、その後、自動停止条件が成立しなくなり再始動する場合は、スタータモータ40を駆動すると共に、気筒#1内にインジェクタ11により多段噴射で細かく燃料を噴射させ、気筒#1のピストンが上死点に到達する直前にインジェクタ11により着火用の燃料を少量噴射させる。

Claims (2)
- 所定の自動停止条件が成立すると燃料噴射を停止させるアイドルストップ機能を備えるディーゼルエンジンの始動装置であって、
前記ディーゼルエンジンの各気筒内に燃料を直接噴射する燃料噴射手段と、
通電により発熱して前記ディーゼルエンジンの各気筒を昇温するグロープラグと、
前記ディーゼルエンジンの始動時に駆動してクランクシャフトを回転駆動させるスタータモータと、
前記燃料噴射手段の燃料噴射、前記グロープラグの通電及び、前記スタータモータの駆動を制御する制御手段と、を備え、
前記制御手段は、アイドルストップ時に所定気筒のピストンを圧縮下死点で停止させると共に、前記グロープラグの通電を開始し、その後、前記所定の自動停止条件が成立しなくなり前記ディーゼルエンジンを再始動する場合は、前記スタータモータを駆動して前記所定気筒のピストンを圧縮下死点から上昇させると共に、前記所定気筒内に前記燃料噴射手段により多段噴射で細かく燃料を噴射させ、前記所定気筒のピストンが上死点に到達する直前に前記燃料噴射手段により着火用の燃料を少量噴射させることを特徴とするディーゼルエンジンの始動装置。 - 所定の自動停止条件が成立すると燃料噴射を停止させるアイドルストップ機能を有するディーゼルエンジンの始動方法であって、
アイドルストップ時に所定気筒のピストンを圧縮下死点で停止させると共に、前記ディーゼルエンジンの各気筒を昇温するグロープラグの通電を開始し、その後、前記所定の自動停止条件が成立しなくなり前記ディーゼルエンジンを再始動する場合は、クランクシャフトを回転駆動させるスタータモータを駆動して前記所定気筒のピストンを圧縮下死点から上昇させると共に、前記所定気筒内に燃料噴射手段により多段噴射で細かく燃料を噴射させ、前記所定気筒のピストンが上死点に到達する直前に前記燃料噴射手段により着火用の燃料を少量噴射させることを特徴とするディーゼルエンジンの始動方法。
