Claims (37)
- 第1の管状部材および第2の管状部材を備える操作可能な部分を備え、前記第1および第2の管状部材のうちの一方が、もう一方の内部に配置され、
前記第1および第2の管状要素が、前記操作可能な部分より遠位の固定位置にて互いに軸方向に固定され、前記第1および第2の管状部材を、前記操作可能な部分を第1の方向に操作するために、前記操作可能な部分に沿って互いに軸方向に動かすことができ、
前記第1の管状部材が、第1の方向に優先的に屈曲するようになされる、操作可能な医療用送達装置。 - 前記第2の管状部材が、実質的に均一であり、優先的に屈曲するようになされない、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記第1の管状部材が、第1の背骨部を画成するように少なくとも1つのスロットを内部に備える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記第2の管状部材が、第2の背骨部を画成するように少なくとも1つのスロットを内部に備える、請求項3に記載の装置。
- 前記第1の管状部材が、編組材料を備える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記第1の管状部材が、前記第2の細長い管状部材内に配置される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記操作可能な部分を第1の方向に操作するために、圧縮力および張力のうちの一方を前記第1の管状部材に加え、前記圧縮力および前記張力のうちのもう一方を前記第2の管状部材に加えるように、前記第1の管状部材が前記第2の管状部材に対して軸方向に動かされるようになされる、請求項1に記載の装置。

- 前記内側および外側背骨部が、互いにほぼ180°ずれている、請求項11に記載の装置。
- 前記内側および外側背骨部が、前記送達装置の前記操作可能な部分を操作するために、圧縮力および張力のうちの一方を受けるようになされる、請求項11に記載の装置。

前記操作可能な部分が操作される間に、前記操作可能な部分より遠位の位置にて、前記内側管状部材および外側管状部材の軸方向相対運動を妨げるステップとを含む、医療用送達装置を操作する方法。 - 前記力を加えるステップが、前記圧縮力を前記内側背骨部に加えるステップを含み、前記圧縮力を前記内側背骨部に加えるステップにより、前記張力が、前記操作可能な部分を操作するように前記外側背骨部に加えられる、請求項24に記載の方法。
- 前記圧縮力を内側背骨部に加えるステップが、前記内側管状部材を前記外側管状部材に対して遠位に動かすステップを含む、請求項25に記載の方法。
- 前記力を加えるステップが、前記張力を前記内側背骨部に加えるステップを含み、前記張力を前記内側背骨部に加えるステップにより、前記圧縮力が、前記操作可能な部分を操作するように前記外側背骨部に加えられる、請求項24に記載の方法。

- 前記細長い部材が、第1の背骨部を画成するように内側スロットをそこに有する内側管状部材と、外側背骨部を画成するように外側スロットをそこに有する外側管状部材とを備え、背骨部は互いにずれている、請求項33に記載の装置。
- それを貫通する制御ワイヤ孔をそれぞれ備える第1のビードおよび第2のビードと、
前記制御ワイヤ孔内を通る制御ワイヤとを備え、前記制御ワイヤが、前記第2のビードに固定され、前記第1のビードに固定されず、
前記第1のビードおよび前記制御ワイヤのうちの少なくとも一方に作動力が加えられるとき、前記第1のビードおよび前記第2のビードが、送達構成では互いに対して動かすことができ、係止された構成ではともに係止されるようになされる、係止可能な医療用送達誘導部。 - 係止可能な医療用送達装置を位置決めする方法であって、
誘導要素を対象者内の所望の位置へと進めるステップと、
係止部分を有し、前記係止部分が第1および第2のビードと、前記第1のビード内を通り前記第2のビードに固定される制御ワイヤとを備える、係止可能な誘導装置を提供するステップと、
互いに対して動かすことができる前記第1および第2のビードを有する前記誘導要素上で、前記係止可能な装置を進めるステップと、
前記制御ワイヤおよび第1のビードのうちの一方に作動力を加えるステップによって、前記係止可能な部分を、前記患者の身体構造領域を模擬する構成に係止するステップと、
前記係止可能な部分を前記係止された構成に維持するステップと、
前記係止可能な部分を通して医療器具を前記対象者内の目標位置へと送達するステップとを含む方法。
