Description
Claims (20)
- 患者の息をサンプリングするための医療システムの一部として用いられる流量制御装置であって、
流入ポートを形成する主筐体、排出オリフィスを形成する先端側プレート、および弁座本体を備える筐体アセンブリと、
内腔を形成するチューブ、基端部、およびフランジを備え、筐体アセンブリ内にスライド可能に配置された流入管アセンブリと、
主筐体内に配置され、流入管アセンブリのフランジを支えるバイアス機構と、
筐体アセンブリ内において、流入管アセンブリの基端部とフランジとの間に形成された中間チャンバと、
筐体アセンブリ内において、流入管アセンブリのフランジと先端側プレートとの間に形成された定圧チャンバと、を備え、
流入ポートに流入する空気が内腔を経由して定圧チャンバへ向かう開状態と、内腔が流入ポートと定圧チャンバとの間にて封止される閉状態とを有し、流入ポートに流入する空気の流量の変動とは独立して排出オリフィスから一定な流量の空気が流れる、流量制御装置。 - 流入管アセンブリのフランジと筐体の内部表面との間に封止可能に接続された上膜をさらに備え、上膜は中間チャンバを定圧チャンバから流体的に分離する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 基端部の近位にある流入管アセンブリと筐体の内部表面との間に封止可能に接続された下膜をさらに備え、請求項1に記載の装置。
- バイアス機構はばねである、請求項1に記載の装置。
- バイアス機構は中間チャンバ内に配置される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 弁座本体は流入チューブシートを備える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 筐体は中間チャンバにおいて、外気に開放されたブリード穴を形成する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 先端側プレートは定圧チャンバに向かって突出する少なくとも1つの拡張部を備える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 流入管アセンブリのフランジは、主筐体の内部表面に対して配置された溝を備える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 流量を制御する方法であって、
筐体アセンブリ、移動可能な流入管アセンブリ、およびバイアス機構を備え、第1および第2のチャンバを形成する流量制御装置を提供する工程と、
バイアス機構を経由して流入管アセンブリを開状態へ付勢する工程と、
筐体アセンブリ内に形成された貫通穴にて患者からの空気を受け取る工程と、
流入管アセンブリを開状態にするとともに、貫通穴からの空気を流入管アセンブリ内の内腔を通じて第2のチャンバへと送る工程と、
筐体アセンブリの排出オリフィスを通じて第2のチャンバから出る空気を制限する工程と、
第2のチャンバ内の空気の体積および圧力の増加によって、流入管アセンブリを、内腔が第2のチャンバに対して封止された状態である閉状態へ移行させる工程と、
第2のチャンバ内の圧力の増加に応じて、第1のチャンバ内のバイアス機構を押圧する工程と、
バイアス機構の押圧により流入管アセンブリを弁座に向かってスライドさせる工程と、を含む方法。 - 流量制御装置から出る空気の流量を一定に維持する工程を含む、請求項10に記載の装置。
- 第2のチャンバ内に生じるバイアス機構の静止力よりも大きな空気の圧力が、移動可能な流入管アセンブリのフランジに付与される工程を含む、請求項10に記載の装置。
- 第2のチャンバ内の圧力がバイアス機構の静止力よりも小さくなるまで、バイアス機構が流入管アセンブリにおいて弁座に対して閉じられた流路を維持する工程を含む、請求項12に記載の装置。
- 呼吸用のバルブアセンブリであって、
先端および基端を有する筐体と、
オリフィスを形成し、封止可能に筐体に接続される先端側プレートと、
先端部および基端部を有し、スライド可能に筐体内に配置される流入管アセンブリと、
筐体内において流入管アセンブリの先端部と基端部との間に形成される第1のチャンバと、
筐体内において流入管アセンブリの先端部と先端側プレートとの間に形成される第2のチャンバと、
筐体と流入管アセンブリの先端部とに接続される上側柔軟シール部材と、
筐体と流入管アセンブリの基端部とに接続される下側柔軟シール部材と、
第1のチャンバ内に収容され、流入管アセンブリにバイアス力をかけるバイアス機構と、を備える、バルブアセンブリ。 - 流入管アセンブリは、流入管アセンブリ内の内腔が先端部および基端部の両方にて開放される第1の位置を有する、請求項14に記載のバルブアセンブリ。
- 流入管アセンブリは、内腔が筐体の基端に対して閉じられる第2の位置を有する、請求項15に記載のバルブアセンブリ。
- 第1の位置は、バイアス機構の所定の力によって維持される、請求項15に記載のバルブアセンブリ。
- 筐体の基端は貫通穴を形成する、請求項14に記載のバルブアセンブリ。
- 筐体は、第1のチャンバを外気に開放する少なくとも1つの開口を形成する、請求項14に記載のバルブアセンブリ。
- バルブアセンブリに入る空気がオリフィスから排出される空気よりも大きくなったときに第2のチャンバにかかる圧力よりも小さなばね定数をばねが有することにより、バルブアセンブリからの空気が一定に維持される、請求項14に記載の装置。
