Description
陸上ベースでの試験が、Katy、Texasの汚水処理プラントで実施された。Katyは、ヒューストンの郊外にある。プラントは、最大13.3MGDの許容量で、1日当たり320万ガロンを処理する。海上汚水処理システムは、国際海事機構(IMO)の海洋環境保護委員会(MPEC)のMPEC.2(VI)の決議、国際的な排水基準の勧告、及び1976年の廃水処理プラントに対する実施テストのためのガイドライン及び2006年10月13日のMPEC159(55)で適用された修正を適用した条件と、テストプロトコル下で運転された。システムの全ての操作は、訓練された技術者によって実行された。12日間の試験中、システムの適切な操作と測定が、同じ技術者によって実施された。システムの操作と実験と結果は、独立した第三者機関による認証を受けた(今回のケースにおいては、Bureau Veritas)。
Claims (20)
- 海上で汚水を処理するための方法であって、該方法は、
懸濁物粒子、有機物及び無機物、バクテリアと同伴ガスを含む汚水スラリーを汚水回収タンクに運ぶ工程と、
汚水回収タンクにおけるスラリーの予め設定された上限レベルを検出する汚水処理レベルセンサに応答して、スラリーをマセレーションするマセレータポンプを用いて自動的にスラリーの運搬を開始する工程と、
マセレーションされたスラリーを電解槽に運ぶ工程と、
電解槽に運ばれたマセレーションされたスラリーを酸化及び滅菌する工程と、
スラリーを電気凝集槽に運ぶ前に、酸化及び滅菌されたスラリーに消泡剤を加える工程と、
電気凝集槽内において、酸化及び滅菌されたスラリーに懸濁する粒子の凝集を促進する工程と、
凝集したスラリーを第1の沈殿用タンクへ運んで、凝集されたスラッジとほぼ浄化された上澄みとに分離する工程と、
ほぼ浄化された上澄みを第2の浄化用タンクに管路で運んで、スラッジとほぼ浄化された上澄みとのさらなる分離を促進する工程と、
沈殿用タンクと浄化用タンクの基底ポートを介して、スラッジを除去する工程と、
除去したスラッジの濁りレベルを継続的に測定して、除去したスラッジの状態が予め設定された値と等しい場合に、スラッジの除去を自動的に停止する工程と、
処理された排水として浄化用タンクからほぼ浄化された上澄みを排出する工程とを含む海上汚水処理方法。 - マセレーションされたスラリーの流れを汚水回収タンクに分岐する工程をさらに含んでおり、

- 処理された排水を排出する前に1又は複数種の化学物質を注入して、残存塩素を0.5mg/L未満に中和する工程を更に含む、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 排出された排水は、25mg/L未満の生物学的酸素要求量(BOD)を有する、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 排出された排水は、35mg/L未満の総懸濁物(TSS)を有する、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 排出された排水は、120mg/Lの化学的酸素要求量(COD)を有する、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 排出された排水は、100cfu/100ml未満の大腸菌群を有する、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 凝集されたスラリーを脱気チャンバに管路で運んで、同伴ガスの脱気を促進する工程を更に含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 処理された排水に注入される化学物質の投与を制御する工程を更に含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 凝集されたスラリーの同伴ガスを外気で薄める工程を更に含む、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 海上でスラッジを処理する工程を更に含む、請求項12に記載の方法。
- マセレータポンプは、汚水スラリーに懸濁する固体粒子を細かく砕いて、電解槽内での滅菌が促進される、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 海上汚水処理システムは、
汚水回収タンクと、
汚水回収タンクに接続したマセレータポンプと、
マセレータポンプに隣接しており、更に汚水回収タンクに接続したミキシングポンプと、
マセレーションされた汚水をマセレータポンプから受け取るように構成された電解槽と、
電解槽に隣接する電気凝集槽と、
電気凝集槽に管路手段で接続された脱気チャンバと、
脱気チャンバに隣接する第1の沈殿用タンクと、
第1の沈殿用タンクと流体連結する第2の浄化用タンクと、
沈殿用タンクと浄化用タンクの両方に接続された共通のスラッジ排出ラインに設けられた濁度メータと、
薬剤注入ポンプを含む脱塩素ユニットと、
排水排出ポンプとを含んでおり、
沈殿用タンクと浄化用タンクの各々は、一対の円錐形の側壁と、スラッジを除去する少なくとも一つの基底ポートとを備えている海上汚水処理システム。 - 電気凝集槽と結合した空気及び水パージャーを更に備える、請求項17に記載のシステム。
- 電解槽と接続した海水供給源を更に備える、請求項18に記載のシステム。
- 脱気チャンバは、電気分解中に発生したガスを大気に放出する送風及び排出手段を更に備える、請求項19に記載のシステム。
