Abstract
Description
−0.01〜0.99の置換度(DS)、及び、DS+DBが少なくとも1.00、又はDB+2DS−DS2が少なくとも1.20となるようなブロック度(DB)を有する置換セルロースと、
−キシログルカンと非晶質セルロース基質の両方に対して酵素活性を有するグリコシル加水分解酵素であって、GHファミリー5、12、44又は74から選択されるグリコシル加水分解酵素と、
−任意に、1つ以上の洗濯補助成分とを含む組成物に関する。
本明細書で使用される用語「セルロース類」は天然セルロース類及び合成セルロース類を含む。セルロース類は植物から抽出されるか、又は微生物により生産される。
セルロース骨格は実質的に直線状である。実質的に直線状であることにより、ポリマーの少なくとも97%、例えば少なくとも99%(重量により)、又は全てのグルコース単位がセルロース骨格の主鎖内にあることが理解される。
置換セルロースは少なくとも1つの置換されている骨格のグルコース単位を含む。適切な置換基は、分枝状、直鎖状又は環状、置換又は無置換、飽和又は不飽和アルキル、アミン(一級、二級、三級)、アンモニウム塩、アミド、ウレタン、アルコール、カルボン酸、トシレート、スルホン酸塩、硫酸塩、硝酸塩、リン酸塩、シリコーン、及びそれらの混合物よりなる群から選択することができる。

DSは、全ての有機物を除くために高温(650℃)で45分間CMCを灰まで燃焼させることにより決定された。残渣の無機灰分を蒸留水に溶解し及びメチルレッドを加えた。サンプルがピンクになるまで0.1M塩酸で滴定した。DSは、滴定した酸の量(b mL)及びCMC(G g)の量を用いて、下式を用いて計算された:

本発明の置換セルロースは、DB+DSが少なくとも1であるか、又はDB+2DS−DS2が少なくとも1.20であるかのいずれかのようなDBを有する。
置換セルロースの場合、DBは、市販のエンドグルカナーゼ酵素(Econase CE,AB Enzymes、ドイツ、ダルムスタット(Darmstadt))による特定の酵素加水分解後に放出される無置換グルコース単位の量(A)を、酸による加水分解後に放出される合計無置換グルコース単位の量(A+B)で割ったものに一致する。この酵素活性は、ポリマー鎖中で別の無置換グルコース単位に直接結合する無置換グルコース単位に対して特異的である。置換セルロースブロック度の更なる説明及び測定は、V.Stigsson et al.,Cellulose,2006,13,pp705〜712にその詳細が与えられている。
置換セルロースは重量により2%が水に溶解されたとき、25℃で、少なくとも100mPa.sにおいて、典型的には、例えば250〜5000、又は500〜4000、1000〜3000又は1500〜2000mPa.sの粘度を有する。セルロースの粘度は以下の試験方法に従って測定され得る。
重量により2%のセルロース溶液をセルロースを水に溶解して調製する。この溶液の粘度を25℃でHaake VT500粘度計により5s−1のせん断率で測定する。それぞれの測定は1分間で20の測定点について採取し平均することにより行われる。
典型的に、本発明のセルロースは、10,000〜10,000,000、例えば20,000〜1,000,000、典型的には50,000〜500,000、又は更に60,000〜150,000g/molの範囲にわたる分子量を有する。
置換セルロースは10〜7000、又は少なくとも20のグルコース単位総数を有し得る。本発明において有用な適切な置換セルロースとしては、40を上回る、好適には約50〜約100,000、より好適には約500〜約50,000の重合度(DP)のセルロースが挙げられる。
本発明で用いられる置換セルロースはポリマー化学分野の当業者によく知られたさまざまな経路により合成できる。例えば、カルボキシアルキルエーテルにより連結されたセルロース類はセルロースを適切なハロアルカン酸と反応させることにより調製でき、カルボキシアルキルエステルにより連結されたセルロースは、セルロースを無水コハク酸などの適切な無水物と反応させることにより調製でき、及びスルホアルキルエーテルにより連結されたセルロース類は、セルロースを適切なアルケニルスルホン酸と反応させることにより調製できる。
置換セルロースは、硫酸セルロース、酢酸セルロース、スルホエチルセルロース、シアノエチルセルロース、メチルセルロース、エチルセルロース、カルボキシメチルセルロース、ヒドロキシエチルセルロース、及びヒドロキシプロピルセルロースより成る群から選ばれることができる。とりわけこの置換セルロースはカルボキシメチルセルロースである。

pH 7.5において下記のアッセイに従い、純粋な酵素が20000 EBG/gを超える特異的活性を有している場合、その酵素は非晶質セルロースに対して活性を有していると見なされる。緩衝剤として用いる化学物質及び基質は、少なくとも試薬等級の市販製品であった。
0.1Mリン酸塩緩衝液、pH 7.5
Cellazyme C錠剤(アイルランドのMegazyme Internationalより入手)。
ガラスマイクロファイバーフィルター、GF/C、直径9cm(Whatmanより入手)。
試験管中で、1mLのpH 7.5緩衝液と5mLの脱イオン水を混合する。
洗濯処理組成物は任意に洗濯補助成分を更に含む。この洗濯補助成分は置換セルロースを得るために必要な成分とは異なる。例えば、この洗濯補助成分はセルロース骨格及び置換基を反応させ置換セルロースを得るために用いられる溶媒ではない。これらの追加的補助成分の正確な性質及びその組み込み濃度は、組成物の物理的形状及び用いられる作業の性質に依存する。適切な補助物質としては、限定はしないが、界面活性剤、ビルダー、凝集助剤、キレート剤、染料移転阻害剤、酵素、酵素安定剤、触媒物質、漂白活性化剤、過酸化水素、過酸化水素源、あらかじめ生成された過酸、ポリマー性分散剤、粘土汚れ除去/再付着防止剤、漂白剤、石鹸起泡抑制剤、染料、香水、構造弾性化剤、布地柔軟剤、キャリア、ヒドロトロープ、プロセス助剤、及び/又は顔料が挙げられる。下記開示に加えて、このような他の補助剤の好適な例、及び使用濃度は、米国特許第5,576,282号、同第6,306,812(B1)号及び同第6,326,348(B1)号に見られ、これらは参照により組み込まれる。かかる1つ以上の補助剤は以下に詳細が記載されるように存在できる。
典型的に、本組成物は1〜50wt%又は2〜40wt%の陰イオン性界面活性剤を含む。
本組成物は、アルコキシル化アニオン性界面活性剤を含んでよい。アルコキシル化アニオン性界面活性剤が存在する場合、一般に、洗剤組成物全体を基準にして、0.1重量%〜40重量%、例えば1重量%〜3重量%の量で存在する。
本発明の組成物は、非イオン性界面活性剤を含んでよい。非イオン性洗浄性界面活性剤(類)が存在する場合、一般的に、0.5重量%〜20重量%、又は2重量%〜4重量%の量で存在する。
発明の1態様では、前記洗剤組成物は陽イオン性界面活性剤を含まない。しかしながら、本組成物は所望により、カチオン性洗浄界面活性剤を含んでもよい。存在する場合、組成物は0.1重量%〜10重量%、又は1重量%〜2重量%のカチオン性洗浄性界面活性剤を含むことが好ましい。
式中、CAP、EG/PG、PEG、T及びSIPは上記で定義したようなものであり、DEGはジ(オキシエチレン)オキシ単位を表し、SEGはグリセリンのスルホエチルエーテルから誘導される単位及び関連部分の単位を表し、Bは少なくとも三官能性であって、それによって、エステル結合が形成され、結果的に分枝状オリゴマー骨格となる分岐単位を表し、aは約1〜約12であり、bは約0.5〜約25であり、cは0〜約12であり、dは0〜約10であり、b+c+dの合計は約0.5〜約25であり、eは約1.5〜約25であり、fは0〜約12であり、e+fの合計は約1.5〜約25であり、gは約0.05〜約12であり、hは約0.01〜約10であり、かつa、b、c、d、e、f、g、及びhは、エステル1モル当たりの対応する単位の平均モル数を表し、かつエステルが約500〜約5,000の範囲の分子量を有し、METHOCEL(登録商標)としてDowから入手可能なヒドロキシエーテルセルロース性ポリマーなどのセルロース誘導体であり;C1〜C4アルキルセルロース及びC4ヒドロキシアルキルセルロース(米国特許第4,000,093号、1976年12月28日発行、Nicolら)であり、かつ約1.6〜約2.3の無水グルコース単位当たりの平均置換度(メチル)及び20℃にて2%水溶液として測定して約80〜約120センチポアズの溶液粘度を有するメチルセルロースエーテルである。このような材料は、Shinetsu Kagaku Kogyo KK製のメチルセルロースエーテルの商標名である、METOLOSE SM100(登録商標)及びMETOLOSE SM200(登録商標)として入手可能である。
本洗濯処理組成物は好適には洗濯洗剤成分又は布地ケア組成物である。
HB−CMC1:Noviant division of CPKelco(オランダ、アルンヘム(Arnhem))より供給される、1740mPa.sの粘度(2%溶液として)、置換度0.76及びブロック度0.50を有するカルボキシメチルセルロース。
Claims (10)
- 洗濯処理組成物又はその成分である、組成物であって、
0.01〜0.99の置換度(DS)、及びDS+DBが少なくとも1.00、又はDB+2DS−DS2が少なくとも1.20となるようなブロック度(DB)を有する置換セルロースと、
キシログルカンと非晶質セルロース基質の両方に対して酵素活性を有するグリコシル加水分解酵素であって、GHファミリー5、12、44又は74から選択されるグリコシル加水分解酵素と、
任意に、1つ以上の洗濯補助成分とを含む、組成物。 - 前記置換セルロースが、少なくとも0.55の置換度(DS)を有する、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記置換セルロースが、少なくとも0.35のブロック度(DB)を有する、請求項1又は2に記載の組成物。
- 前記置換セルロースが、1.05〜2.00のDS+DBを有する、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 前記置換セルロースが、明細書中の「試験方法3」に従う粘度試験において、2重量%水溶液で少なくとも100mPa.sの粘度を有する、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 前記置換セルロースが、その骨格に少なくとも1つの、分枝状、直鎖状又は環状、置換又は無置換、飽和又は不飽和アルキル、アミン(一級、二級、三級)、アンモニウム塩、アミド、ウレタン、アルコール、カルボン酸、トシレート、スルホン酸塩、硫酸塩、硝酸塩、リン酸塩、シリコーン、及びそれらの混合物からなる群から選択される置換基により置換されるグルコース単位を含む、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 前記置換セルロースが、カルボキシメチルセルロースである、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
