Abstract
【解決手段】本発明に係る不燃性塗料は、ケイ酸リチウム又はケイ酸カリウムと、アンモニアを含む水溶性アミン類及び/又は水溶性無機塩基性化合物によってpHが11〜13に調整され、かつ、ノニオン性界面活性剤を必須成分とする水性樹脂分散体と、からなる不燃性塗料を用いることにより、紙や布の特性や柔軟性を失うことなく、密着性が良く、不燃性、耐候性、耐水性に優れる不燃性塗膜の形成が可能となる。

[水性樹脂分散体(A1)の製造]
撹拌装置、温度計、冷却管及び滴下装置を備えた反応器中に、イオン交換水240部、炭酸水素ナトリウム塩(pH調整剤)0.5部、(反応型ノニオン性界面活性剤:旭電化工業社製「アデカリアソープNE−30」)4部、(反応型アニオン性界面活性剤:アデカリアソープSE−10)1部をそれぞれ仕込み、反応器内部を窒素で置換しながら、80℃まで昇温した。その後、重合開始剤として過硫酸カリウム(KPS)1.5部を加えて調製した。続いて、予め別容器で撹拌混合しておいた表1のA1の欄に示す乳化物を4時間かけて連続滴下した。滴下終了後、80℃で2時間攪拌を続けながら熟成し、40℃まで冷却した後、28%アンモニア水にてpH13.0に調整し、水性樹脂分散体A1を得た。

GMA:グリシジルメタアクリレート(Tg=41℃)
AA:アクリル酸(Tg=106℃)
SE−10:反応型アニオン性界面活性剤(ADEKA社製 アデカリアソープSE−10)
NE−30:反応型ノニオン性界面活性剤(ADEKA社製 アデカリアソープNE−30)
NF08:非反応型アニオン性界面活性剤(第一工業製薬製 ハイテノールNF08)
EA177:非反応型ノニオン性界面活性剤(ノイゲンEA177)
実施例1は、下記表2に示したような成分を有するものであり、ケイ酸リチウム(日本化学工業(株)社製、「ケイ酸リチウム45」)80部、水性樹脂分散体A1 20部をディスパーで30分混錬して、不燃性の塗料を得た。得られた塗料について、下記の試験方法を用いて、評価を行った。
下記表2に実施例2〜実施例9として示した成分をディスパーで30分混練して、不燃性の塗料を得た。得られた塗料について、下記の試験方法を用いて、評価を行った。なお、実施例8で利用したケイ酸ナトリウムは、日本化学工業株式会社社製の「J珪酸ソーダ3号」である。また、実施例9で利用したケイ酸カリウムは、日本化学工業株式会社社製の「2K珪酸カリ」である。
比較例1は、下記表3に示したような成分を有するものであり、ケイ酸リチウム(日本化学工業(株)社製、「珪酸リチウム45」)40部、水性樹脂分散体A6を60部、をディスパーで30分混錬して、不燃性の塗料を得た。得られた塗料について、下記の試験方法を用いて、評価を行った。
下記表3に比較例2〜比較例4として示した成分をディスパーで30分混練して、不燃性の塗料を得た。得られた塗料について、下記の試験方法を用いて、評価を行った。
20℃6ヶ月、50℃14日、−5℃14日、の3条件で保管し、ブツ、ゲル等の発生の有無を確認した。すべての条件でブツ、ゲル等の発生がない場合を○とし、いずれかの条件でブツ、ゲル等の発生がある場合を×とした。
127×12.7×3mmの不織布に不燃性塗料を十分に含浸させ、標準状態(温度23℃、相対湿度50%)にて7日間養生し、不燃性試験の試験体とした。試験は、JIS K 6911に記載された耐燃性 A法に準拠した。燃焼距離が25mm以下の場合は不燃性(◎)とし、25mmを超え100mm以下の場合には自消性(○)とし、100mmを超える場合には可燃性(×)とした。
127×12.7×3mmの不織布に不燃性塗料を十分に含浸させ、標準状態(温度23℃、相対湿度50%)にて7日間養生し、不燃性試験の試験体とした。試験体表面の中心部に分銅をのせて、0.5kg/cm2の荷重を24時間掛けることにより塗膜の柔軟性を調べた。以下の基準に基づいて、塗膜の柔軟性の評価を行った。
◎:割れ無し
○:微小なひび割れなどが存在
×:割れあり
127×12.7×3mmの不織布に不燃性塗料を十分に含浸させ、標準状態(温度23℃、相対湿度50%)にて7日間養生し、不燃性試験の試験体とした。試験体表面にカーボン紙を置き、更にその上に分銅をのせて、0.5kg/cm2の荷重を24時間かけた。その後、カーボン紙をゆっくりはがし、荷重をかけた箇所の汚染度合いを目視判定した。
◎:全くカーボンが付いていない。
○:局所的にカーボンが付着している。
×:荷重のかかっていた箇所の5割以上にカーボンが付着している。
127×12.7×3mmの不織布に不燃性塗料を十分に含浸させ試験体とし、標準状態(温度23℃、相対湿度50%)にて7日間養生した。養生後、試験体をマグネチックスターラーにて攪拌している23℃2Lの水中に48時間吊した。その後、標準状態(温度23℃、相対湿度50%)にて7日乾燥し、耐溶出性試験の試験体とした。この試験体を用いてJIS K 6911に記載された耐燃性 A法に準拠した不燃性試験を行った。その結果、燃焼距離が25mm以下の場合は不燃性(◎)とし、25mmを超え100mm以下の場合には自消性(○)とし、100mmを超える場合には可燃性(×)とした。
140×50×3mmの不織布に不燃性塗料を十分に含浸させ、標準状態(温度23℃、相対湿度50%)にて7日間養生後、JIS K 5600-7-7に規定されるキセノンランプ法に準じて促進試験を行った。促進試験後、JIS L 1908 6.5に準じて引張強さを評価した。以下の基準に基づいて、耐候性試験の評価を行った。
促進試験後の引張強さが促進試験前に比べ100%以下80%以上の場合:◎
促進試験後の引張強さが促進試験前に比べ80%未満50%以上の場合:○
促進試験後の引張強さが促進試験前に比べ50%未満の場合:×
Claims (9)
- ケイ酸リチウム又はケイ酸カリウムと、
アンモニアを含む水溶性アミン類及び/又は水溶性無機塩基性化合物によってpHが11〜13に調整され、かつ、ノニオン性界面活性剤を必須成分とする水性樹脂分散体と、
からなることを特徴とする、不燃性塗料。 - 前記ケイ酸リチウム又はケイ酸カリウムと前記水性樹脂分散体の配合比が、質量比で50:50〜95:5であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の不燃性塗料。
- 前記水性樹脂分散体のガラス転移温度が、20℃〜60℃であることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載の不燃性塗料。
- 前記水性樹脂分散体に用いられるノニオン性界面活性剤が、樹脂固形分あたり2質量%〜10質量%であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の不燃性塗料。
- 前記水性樹脂分散体に用いられるノニオン性界面活性剤が、分子中にエチレン性不飽和基を有することを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の不燃性塗料。
- 前記水性樹脂分散体が、分子内に2個以上の重合性不飽和二重結合を有する単量体及び/又は乳化重合反応時の温度にて相互に反応する官能基を持つ単量体を用いて生成されることによって、当該水性樹脂分散体の粒子内部に架橋構造を形成していることを特徴とする、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の不燃性塗料。
- 基材である布または紙の表面に、アンモニアを含む水溶性アミン類及び/又は水溶性無機塩基性化合物によってpH11〜13に調整され、かつ、ノニオン性界面活性剤を必須成分とする水性樹脂分散体と、ケイ酸リチウム又はケイ酸カリウムと、からなる塗料を塗布することを特徴とする、不燃性塗膜の製造方法。
- 前記基材が、不織布、織布又は編布のいずれかであることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の不燃性塗膜の製造方法。
- アンモニアを含む水溶性アミン類及び/又は水溶性無機塩基性化合物によってpH11〜13に調整され、かつ、ノニオン性界面活性剤を必須成分とする水性樹脂分散体と、ケイ酸又はケイ酸カリウムとからなる塗料を、基材である布又は紙の表面に塗布することにより得られることを特徴とする、不燃性塗膜。
