1.(A)と(B)と(C)の合計を100重量%として(A)ポリフェニレンスルフィド樹脂25〜45重量%と(B)水酸化マグネシウム10〜60重量%および(C)繊維径が4〜11μmのガラス繊維15〜65重量%を配合してなり、熱流計法で測定した熱伝導率が0.8W/m・K以上である樹脂組成物を成形してなるLED放熱用部材。
2.前記ガラス繊維の繊維径が5〜8μmであることを特徴とする1に記載のLED放熱用部材。
3.前記樹脂組成物が、前記(A)と(B)と(C)の合計100重量部に対して、さらに(D)オレフィン系樹脂を1〜10重量部配合してなる樹脂組成物である1〜2いずれか記載のLED放熱用部材。
PPSの調製
撹拌機および底に弁の付いた20リットルオートクレーブに、47%水硫化ナトリウム(三協化成)2383g(20.0モル)、96%水酸化ナトリウム831g(19.9モル)、N−メチル−2−ピロリドン(NMP)3960g(40.0モル)、およびイオン交換水3000gを仕込み、常圧で窒素を通じながら225℃まで約3時間かけて徐々に加熱し、水4200gおよびNMP80gを留出した後、反応容器を160℃に冷却した。仕込みアルカリ金属硫化物1モル当たりの系内残存水分量は0.17モルであった。また、仕込みアルカリ金属硫化物1モル当たりの硫化水素の飛散量は0.021モルであった。
次に、p−ジクロロベンゼン(シグマアルドリッチ)2942g(20.0モル)、NMP1515g(15.3モル)を加え、反応容器を窒素ガス下に密封した。その後、400rpmで撹拌しながら、200℃から227℃まで0.8℃/分の速度で昇温し、次いで274℃まで0.6℃/分の速度で昇温し、274℃で50分保持した後、282℃まで昇温した。オートクレーブ底部の抜き出しバルブを開放し、窒素で加圧しながら、内容物を撹拌機付き容器に15分かけてフラッシュし、250℃でしばらく撹拌して大半のNMPを除去し、ポリアリーレンスルフィド(PPS)と塩類を含む固形物を回収した。

D2:三井化学社製“タフマーA4085”、エチレン/ブテン−1=82/18重量%共重合体、密度0.88g/cm3
スクリュー径44mmの同方向回転ベント付き2軸押出機(日本製鋼所製、TEX−44)を用いて、表1に示す参考例1のポリフェニレンスルフィド樹脂および、参考例4のオレフィン系樹脂を元込め部から添加し、参考例2の水酸化マグネシウムおよび、参考例3のガラス繊維を中間添加口から投入し、樹脂温度300℃、スクリュー回転数200rpmで溶融混練を行い、ペレットを得た。ついで130℃の熱風乾燥機で5時間乾燥した後、後述する評価を行った。結果を表1に示す。
スクリュー径44mmの同方向回転ベント付き2軸押出機(日本製鋼所製、TEX−44)を用いて、表2に示す参考例1のポリフェニレンスルフィド樹脂および、参考例4のオレフィン系樹脂を元込め部から添加し、参考例2の水酸化マグネシウムおよび、参考例3のガラス繊維を中間添加口から投入し、樹脂温度300℃、スクリュー回転数200rpmで溶融混練を行い、ペレットを得た。ついで130℃の熱風乾燥機で5時間乾燥した後、後述する評価を行った。結果を表2に示す。
射出成形機UH1000(80t)(日精樹脂工業社製)を用い、シリンダー温度320℃、金型温度150℃の温度条件で、100mm×100mm×3mm厚(フィルムゲート)の角形成形品を成形下限厚+5MPaで25枚成形し、流れ方向に沿って成形品中心を基点として両側に12.7mm幅で各2枚、計4枚曲げ強度試験片をそれぞれ作製した。次いで得られた成形品をASTM D790に準拠し、曲げ強度の測定を行い、その平均値を算出した。この値が高いほど機械的強度が優れる。
射出成形機UH1000(80t)(日精樹脂工業社製)を用い、シリンダー温度320℃、金型温度150℃の温度条件で、角形成形品(50mm×50mm×3mm厚み、フィルムゲート)を作製し、この成形品の両表面を深さ0.5mm切削して厚さ2mmの試験片としたものを用いて熱流計法熱伝導率測定装置(リガク社製GH−1S)により熱伝導率を測定した。この値が高いほど熱伝導性に優れる。
射出成形機UH1000(80t)(日精樹脂工業社製)を用い、シリンダー温度320℃、金型温度150℃の温度条件で、円形成形品(直径50mm、厚み2mm)を作製し、この成形品に発光効率30lm/WのLEDチップを搭載した基盤(基盤サイズ、直径50mm、厚み1mm)を搭載した。LEDを200時間連続で点灯し、LEDの点灯状態を観察した。実施例1〜9のLED放熱部材は、200時間後も明るさに変化なく点灯していた。比較例1と比較例4は明るさが低下した。
射出成形機UH1000(80t)(日精樹脂工業社製)を用い、シリンダー温度320℃、金型温度150℃の温度条件で、図1の厚さ1.3mmのフィン状突起物を10枚有する成形品を成形下限圧+5MPaで各10個成形し、成形品の比重を比重測定装置AUW320/SMK−401(島津製作所社製)にて測定し、平均値を成形品比重とした。理論比重は、各参考例の密度を表1、2に示す比率より算出した。下記式より、成形品充填率を算出した。
成形品充填率=(成形品比重×理論比重)×100
成形品充填率が高いほど、薄肉部への充填性に優れる。
射出成形機UH1000(80t)(日精樹脂工業社製)を用い、シリンダー温度320℃、金型温度150℃の温度条件で、図1の厚さ1.3mmのフィン状突起物を10枚有する成形品を成形下限圧+5MPaで各20個成形し、得られた成形品をフィン状突起物側を下向きにして、高さ1mからコンクリート製ブロックの平面部分に落下させたときのフィン状突起物の割れ数を測定した。フィン状突起物の割れ数が少ないほど薄肉部強度に優れる。
Claims (3)
- (A)と(B)と(C)の合計を100重量%として(A)ポリフェニレンスルフィド樹脂25〜45重量%と(B)水酸化マグネシウム10〜60重量%および(C)繊維径が4〜11μmのガラス繊維15〜65重量%を配合してなり、熱流計法で測定した熱伝導率が0.8W/m・K以上である樹脂組成物を成形してなるLED放熱用部材。
- 前記ガラス繊維の繊維径が5〜8μmであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のLED放熱用部材。
- 前記樹脂組成物が、前記(A)と(B)と(C)の合計100重量部に対して、さらに(D)オレフィン系樹脂を1〜10重量部配合してなる樹脂組成物である請求項1〜2いずれか記載のLED放熱用部材。
