Abstract
【解決手段】ワイヤバレル18に圧着可能な芯線径よりも大きい被覆電線13、14については、芯線16に圧力を加えながら超音波エネルギを付与する超音波処理を行うことにより、当該芯線径をワイヤバレル18に圧着可能なサイズまで小さくした後、超音波処理により芯線サイズを小さくした被覆電線13、14の芯線16を端子金具15の一対の圧着片18Bで加締めて圧着又は圧接する。ワイヤバレル18に圧着可能な芯線径の被覆電線11、12については、超音波処理を行うことなく、そのまま被覆電線11、12の芯線16を端子金具15の一対の圧着片18Bで加締めて圧着する。

Claims (4)
- 所定範囲内のサイズの芯線が圧着又は圧接可能な大きさに設けられた底壁部及び前記底壁部から立設する一対の片から構成された端子金具で、前記所定範囲内の芯線サイズの第1被覆電線及び前記所定範囲よりも大きい芯線サイズの第2被覆電線をそれぞれ、圧着又は圧接する電線接続方法であって、
前記第2被覆電線の芯線に圧力を加えながら超音波エネルギを付与する超音波処理を行うことにより、当該芯線サイズを前記所定範囲内まで小さくする工程と、
前記超音波処理により前記芯線サイズを所定範囲内まで小さくした前記第2被覆電線の芯線を前記端子金具の一対の片の間の底壁部上に搭載して、前記一対の片に圧着又は圧接する工程と、を行うことを特徴とする電線接続方法。 - 前記第1被覆電線の芯線を前記超音波処理を行わないで前記端子金具の一対の片の間の底壁部上に搭載して、前記一対の片に圧着又は圧接する工程を行うことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電線接続方法。
- 所定範囲内の芯線サイズの第1被覆電線と、前記所定範囲よりも大きい芯線サイズの第2被覆電線と、底壁部及び前記底壁部から立設する一対の片から構成され、前記第1被覆電線及び前記第2被覆電線に各々圧着又は圧接される複数の端子金具と、を備えたワイヤハーネスであって、
前記複数の端子金具は各々、当該底壁部及び一対の片の大きさが前記所定範囲内のサイズの芯線の圧着又は圧接可能に設けられ、
前記第2被覆電線の芯線は、圧力を加えながら超音波エネルギを付与する超音波処理が行われて、前記所定範囲内まで小さくされた状態で、前記端子金具の一対の片に圧着又は圧接されていることを特徴とするワイヤハーネス。 - 前記第1被覆電線の芯線は、前記超音波処理が行われることなく、前記端子金具の一対の片に圧着又は圧接されている
ことを特徴とする請求項3に記載のワイヤハーネス。
