Abstract
【解決手段】ハウジング内に一軸心CL2まわりに自転可能に設けられた殻状のデフケース50と、そのデフケース50のフランジ部50fと少なくとも周方向360度に渡って溶接されたリングギヤとしての大径傘歯車52とを、備えた車両用デファレンシャル装置34において、デフケース50のフランジ部50fにおける大径傘歯車52との溶接開始部分の厚み寸法が他の部分の厚み寸法よりも肉薄に形成されたものであることから、溶接に際してその肉薄の溶接開始部分をあえて積極的に歪ませることで、デフケース50に対して大径傘歯車52が傾くのを好適に抑制することができる。

- ハウジング内に一軸心まわりに自転可能に設けられた殻状のデフケースと、該デフケースのフランジ部と少なくとも周方向360度に渡って溶接されたリングギヤとを、備えた車両用デファレンシャル装置であって、
前記デフケースのフランジ部における前記リングギヤとの溶接開始部分の厚み寸法が他の部分よりも肉薄に形成されていることを特徴とする車両用デファレンシャル装置。
