Abstract
【解決手段】コネクタのスタック式差込口の各々は差動信号コンタクトの側面同士が対向するように提供しており、多層の差動信号を収容するために補足幅のない回路基板に取付けられ、コネクタウェハの使用によって、側面同士が対向するような差動信号コンタクトの位置決めから前後に並ぶようにコンタクトの向きを変える。

Claims (5)
- コネクタであって、
相手側コネクタと係合するための嵌合面と、コネクタを回路基板に取付けるための取付面とを備える絶縁性ハウジングと、
複数の第1の端子を支持する第1の絶縁体と、
複数の第2の端子を支持する第2の絶縁体と、
複数の第3の端子を支持する第3の絶縁体とを有し、
前記第1の端子の各々は、コンタクト部と、取付部と、コンタクト部と取付部との間に延在する本体部とを備え、前記第1の端子は接地端子となるように配置され、
前記第2の端子の各々は、コンタクト部と、取付部と、コンタクト部と取付部との間に延在する本体部とを備え、
前記第3の端子の各々は、コンタクト部と、取付部と、コンタクト部と取付部との間に延在する本体部とを備え、
前記第2及び第3の端子は複数の差動信号端子の対となるように配置され、前記第2及び第3の端子の本体部は、該本体部において側面結合するように互いに側方に位置するように並べられ、
前記差動信号端子の対が側面結合から縁部結合に変化するように、前記第2及び第3の端子の一方は前方に延在する取付部を備え、前記第2及び第3の端子の他方は後方に延在する取付部を備えるコネクタ。 - 前記第1、第2及び第3の絶縁体は、繰返しパターンとなるように配置されている、請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記取付部は圧入可能な形状を備える、請求項2に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記第2及び第3の端子は4つの差動信号端子の対となるように配置される、請求項3に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記第2及び第3の絶縁体は互いに結合される、請求項4に記載のコネクタ。
