Abstract
【解決手段】 自動車の排気触媒が機能するには、それが運転温度になければならない。エンジンが低温から始動する場合は、車両は、排気系およびその中に配置されるあらゆる後処理装置を含めて大気温度にある。排出される全排出物質の60%〜80%が、エンジンの低温始動と120秒までのアイドリングとにおいて発生するので、触媒が可及的速やかに機能することがどうしても必要になる。本発明は、排気の流れが、ターボチャージャのタービンホイールを駆動することによって惹起されるエンタルピー損失を回避し、従って、熱をより急速に触媒または後処理装置に供給することを可能にする受動的熱制御バイパス弁を提供する。

Claims (10)
- a.燃焼ガスの吸気部および排気ガスの出口を含むエンジンと、
b.タービンホイール、並びに、入口および出口を有するタービンハウジングを含むターボチャージャと、
c.前記エンジンの排気を前記ターボチャージャのタービンハウジングの入口に接続する第1排気配管と、
d.後処理装置(74)と、
e.前記ターボチャージャハウジングの出口を前記後処理装置に接続する第2排気配管(32)と、
f.前記タービンホイールの上流側の排気ガス流れに流体連結されるバイパスポート(2)と、
g.前記ターボチャージャをバイパスするバイパス配管(68)であり、前記ポートおよび前記第2排気配管に接続されるバイパス配管(68)と、
h.前記バイパスポート(2)を遮断および遮断解除するための前記ポートに関連する弁(1)であり、前記バイパスポート(2)を遮断および遮断解除することによって、前記バイパス配管への排気ガスの流れを制御する弁(1)であって、
ある所定温度以下において前記バイパスポート(2)の遮断を解除し、ある所定温度を超えると前記バイパスポート(2)を遮断するように構成される受動的熱応答弁である弁(1)と、
を含む車両。 - 前記弁(1)が、閉位置にある前記弁のシールを補助するために排気ガス圧力が圧力を加えるように配置される、請求項1に記載の車両。
- 前記弁(1)が、正常なエンジン運転温度におけるエンジンの排気温度以下においては、前記バイパスポート(2)の遮断を解除するように熱的に変形し、正常なエンジン運転温度におけるエンジンの排気温度においては、前記バイパスポートを遮断するように構成されるバイメタル弁である、請求項1に記載の車両。
- 前記後処理装置(74)が触媒コンバータである、請求項1に記載の車両。
- エンジンおよびターボチャージャタービンの間のウェイストゲートポートにウェイストゲートが接続される、請求項1に記載の車両。
- 前記ウェイストゲートポートが前記バイパスポートでもあり、かつ、前記受動的熱応答弁が、ウェイストゲート弁作動リンク機構(108)の中に一体的に組み込まれる、またはそのリンク機構(108)に連結される、請求項1に記載の車両。
- 前記バイパス管が低熱慣性の管である、請求項1に記載の車両。
- 前記バイパス管が超合金材料の薄いフレキシブルな回旋加工されたダクトである、請求項1に記載の車両。
- 前記バイパスポートが前記タービンハウジングに配置される、請求項1に記載の車両。
- 前記バイパスポートが前記第1排気配管に配置される、請求項1に記載の車両。
