Abstract
【解決手段】排気管の途中に排気ガス3中のパティキュレートを捕集するパティキュレートフィルタ5を備えると共に、パティキュレートフィルタ5の下流側に酸素共存下でも選択的にNOxをアンモニアと反応させ得る選択還元型触媒6を備え、選択還元型触媒6とパティキュレートフィルタ5との間に還元剤として尿素水を添加し得る尿素水添加手段12を配置した排気浄化装置であって、尿素水添加手段12から選択還元型触媒6へ排気ガス3を導入する流路の間には、少なくとも1つ以上の曲部13,14を形成する。

Claims (6)
- 排気管の途中に排気ガス中のパティキュレートを捕集するパティキュレートフィルタを備えると共に、該パティキュレートフィルタの下流側に酸素共存下でも選択的にNOxをアンモニアと反応させ得る選択還元型触媒を備え、該選択還元型触媒と前記パティキュレートフィルタとの間に還元剤として尿素水を添加し得る尿素水添加手段を配置した排気浄化装置であって、前記尿素水添加手段から選択還元型触媒へ排気ガスを導入する流路の間には、少なくとも1つ以上の曲部を形成したことを特徴とする排気浄化装置。
- 前記尿素水添加手段は、パティキュレートフィルタから選択還元型触媒へ排気ガスを導入する流路の間で最も長い直線部の上流端に配置され、前記直線部は、尿素水のアンモニアへの転化を行うための反応時間を得る長さを備えたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の排気浄化装置。
- 前記パティキュレートフィルタと選択還元型触媒とを並列に配置すると共に、排気ガスの流路は、パティキュレートフィルタの後方から排出された排気ガスを折り返す第一接続部と、該第一接続部から選択還元型触媒の前方へ延在する直線部と、該直線部から選択還元型触媒の前方に導入するよう曲部を形成する第二接続部とを備えて構成されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の排気浄化装置。
- パティキュレートフィルタの直前に排気ガス中の未燃燃料分を酸化処理する酸化触媒が装備され、該酸化触媒より上流側で排気ガス中に燃料を添加する燃料添加手段が備えられていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の排気浄化装置。
- エンジンの各気筒に燃料を噴射する燃料噴射装置を燃料添加手段として採用し、気筒内への燃料噴射を制御して排気ガス中に未燃燃料分を多く残すことで燃料添加を実行するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の排気浄化装置。
- 選択還元型触媒の直後に余剰のアンモニアを酸化処理するアンモニア低減触媒が装備されていることを特徴とする請求項3、4又は5に記載の排気浄化装置。
