Abstract
【解決手段】バリア層、接着層およびシーラント層がこの順に積層されてなる包装材料であって、前記接着層として、(メタ)アクリル酸エステル成分を含有する酸変性ポリオレフィン樹脂を用いたことを特徴とする包装材料。また、バリア層の上に(メタ)アクリル酸エステル成分を含有する酸変性ポリオレフィン樹脂からなる接着層を形成し、次いで前記接着層を介して、溶融したシーラント樹脂を押出ラミネーションによって積層することを特徴とする包装材料の製造方法。

Description
1H−NMR分析(バリアン社製、300MHz)より求めた。オルトジクロロベンゼン(d4)を溶媒とし、120℃で測定した。
JIS 6730記載(190℃、2160g荷重)の方法で測定した。
あらかじめ面積と質量を計測した基材に酸変性ポリオレフィン樹脂の水性分散体を所定量、塗工し、100℃で2分間、乾燥した。得られた積層体の質量を測定し、塗工前の基材の質量を差し引くことで塗工量を求めた。塗工量と塗工面積から単位面積当りの層量(g/m2)を計算した。
ラミネートフィルムから幅15mmの試験片を採取し、引張り試験機(インテスコ社製精密万能材料試験機2020型)を用い、Tピール法により試験片の端部からバリア層とシーラント層の界面を剥離して強度を測定した。測定は20℃、65%RHの雰囲気中、引張速度200mm/分で行った。ラミネート強度は5N/15mm以上であれば包装材料としての使用に問題ないレベルであり、好ましい。なお、ラミネート強度が高い場合には、測定時にシーラントフィルムに伸び、切れなどが発生して剥離が不可能となることがあるが、このような現象はラミネート状態として最も好ましく、ラミネート強度としては10N/15mmを超えているとみなせる。
10cm角のラミネートフィルムを2枚用い、ラミネートフィルムのポリオレフィン樹脂層を内側とし、内容物として、酢酸1gを染み込ませた脱脂綿を入れ、シール幅10mmで四方をヒートシールして密封し、これを50℃で2週間保存した。内容物の酢酸1gに代えて、L−メントール1g、リモネン1gとしたものについても、それぞれ同様に密封、保存した。その後、密封した各包装材を開封し、前記(4)と同様にして、包装材のラミネートフィルムから試験片を採取して、ラミネート強度を測定した。
L−メントールの耐内容物試験後の袋を開封する際、切り目を入れて手で引き裂いた場合の状況を目視で評価した。
○:引き裂き性良好でありフィルム間の剥離なし
×:引き裂き性不良でありフィルム間の剥離あり

水蒸気透過度:1g/m2・day(JIS Z0208)
・シリカ蒸着フィルム(三菱樹脂社製テックバリアVX)
酸素透過度 :5ml/m2・day・MPa(25℃、90%RH)
水蒸気透過度:0.5g/m2・day(40℃、90%)
・アルミナ蒸着フィルム(凸版社製GL−AE)
酸素透過度 :5ml/m2・day・MPa(30℃、70%RH)
水蒸気透過度:0.6g/m2・day(40℃、90%RH)
・バリアフィルム(ユニチカ社製エンブレットDC KPT)
酸素透過度 :95ml/m2・day・MPa(20℃、65%RH)
水蒸気透過度:13g/m2・day(40℃、90%RH)
〔酸変性ポリオレフィン樹脂水性分散体E−1の製造〕
ヒーター付きの密閉できる耐圧1リットル容ガラス容器を備えた撹拌機を用いて、60.0gの酸変性ポリオレフィン樹脂(アルケマ社製ボンダインTX−8030)、90.0gのイソプロパノール、3.0gのトリエチルアミンおよび147.0gの蒸留水をガラス容器内に仕込み、撹拌翼の回転速度を300rpmとして撹拌したところ、容器底部には樹脂粒状物の沈澱は認められず、浮遊状態となっていることが確認された。そこでこの状態を保ちつつ、10分後にヒーターの電源を入れ加熱した。そして系内温度を140〜145℃に保ってさらに30分間撹拌した。その後、水浴につけて、回転速度300rpmのまま攪拌しつつ室温(約25℃)まで冷却した後、300メッシュのステンレス製フィルター(線径0.035mm、平織)で加圧濾過(空気圧0.2MPa)し、乳白色の均一な酸変性ポリオレフィン樹脂水性分散体E−1を得た。
〔酸変性ポリオレフィン樹脂水性分散体E−2の製造〕
酸変性ポリオレフィン樹脂としてボンダインHX−8290(アルケマ社製)を用い、水性分散体E−1の製造と同様の操作を行って酸変性ポリオレフィン樹脂水性分散体E−2を得た。
〔酸変性ポリオレフィン樹脂水性分散体E−3の製造〕
ヒーター付きの密閉できる耐圧1リットル容ガラス容器を備えた撹拌機を用いて、60.0gのエチレン−アクリル酸共重合体樹脂(ダウケミカル社製プリマコール5980I)、16.8gのTEA、および223.2gの蒸留水をガラス容器内に仕込み、撹拌翼の回転速度を300rpmとして撹拌したところ、容器底部には樹脂粒状物の沈澱は認められず、浮遊状態となっていることが確認された。そこでこの状態を保ちつつ、10分後にヒーターの電源を入れ加熱した。そして系内温度を140〜145℃に保ってさらに30分間撹拌した。その後、水浴につけて、回転速度300rpmのまま攪拌しつつ室温(約25℃)まで冷却した後、300メッシュのステンレス製フィルター(線径0.035mm、平織)で加圧濾過(空気圧0.2MPa)し、微白濁の水性分散体E−3を得た。この際、フィルター上に樹脂は殆ど残っていなかった。
水性分散体E−1〜E−3の製造に使用した酸変性ポリオレフィン樹脂の組成を表1に示した。
厚さ12μmの二軸延伸ポリエステル樹脂フィルム(ユニチカ社製「エンブレットPET−12」)を使用し、グラビアコート機を用いてポリエステル樹脂フィルムのコロナ処理面に二液硬化型のポリウレタン系接着剤(東洋モートン社製)を乾燥後の塗布量が5g/m2 になるように塗布、乾燥し、バリア層として厚さ7μmのアルミニウム箔を貼り合わせたバリア性基材を得た。次いで、バリア性基材のアルミニウム箔面に酸変性ポリオレフィン樹脂水性分散体E−1の10%希釈液を乾燥後の塗布量が0.7g/m2 となるように塗布し、100℃で2分間、乾燥させ接着層を形成させた。次いで、押出機を備えたラミネート装置を用いて、接着層の表面にシーラント樹脂としてLDPE(住友化学社製L211)を溶融押出して、30μmのLDPE層からなるシーラント層が形成されたラミネートフィルムを得た。
実施例1において、酸変性ポリオレフィン樹脂水性分散体E−1に代えてE−2を用いた以外は実施例1と同様の操作を行ってラミネートフィルムを得た。
実施例1において、接着層の塗布量を0.07g/m2 とした以外は実施例1と同様の操作でラミネートフィルムを得た。
実施例1において、シーラント樹脂としてエチレン−メタクリル酸共重合体(三井・デュポンケミカル社製ニュクレルAN4228C)を用いた以外は実施例1と同様の操作でラミネートフィルムを得た。
実施例1において、酸変性ポリオレフィン樹脂水性分散体E−1に代えて、E−3を用いた以外は実施例1と同様にしてラミネートフィルムを得た。
実施例1において、接着層として、酸変性ポリオレフィン樹脂に代えてポリウレタン樹脂を用いた。すなわち、実施例1と同様の操作を、E−1に変えてポリウレタン樹脂水性分散体(旭電化社製、アデカボンタイターHUX380)を用いて行い、ラミネートフィルムを得た。
実施例1において、接着層の形成を行わず、バリア性基材のアルミニウム箔面に直接、LDPEを溶融押出してラミネートフィルムを得た。
実施例4において、接着層の形成を行わず、バリア性基材のアルミニウム箔面に直接、エチレン−メタクリル酸共重合体を溶融押出してラミネートフィルムを得た。
シーラント樹脂としてポリプロピレン系樹脂(プライムポリマー社製ウルトゼックス1520L)を用いた以外は実施例1と同様の操作でラミネートフィルムを得た。
厚さ12μmの二軸延伸ポリエステル樹脂フィルム(ユニチカ社製「エンブレットPET−12」)を使用し、グラビアコート機を用いてポリエステル樹脂フィルムのコロナ処理面に二液硬化型のポリウレタン系接着剤(東洋モートン社製)を乾燥後の塗布量が5g/m2 になるように塗布、乾燥し、バリア層として厚さ7μmのアルミニウム箔を貼り合わせたバリア性基材を得た。次いで、バリア性基材のアルミニウム箔面に酸変性ポリオレフィン樹脂水性分散体E−1を乾燥後の塗布量が3g/m2 となるように塗布し、100℃で2分間、乾燥させ接着層を形成させた。次いで、接着層を介して50μmのポリエチレンフィルム(タマポリ社製)を加熱したニップロールに通し貼り合わせラミネートフィルムを得た。
実施例6においてシーラントフィルムを50μmの未延伸ポリプロピレンフィルム(東レ社製)とした以外は同様の操作でラミネートフィルムを得た。
アルミニウム蒸着フィルム(東セロ社製メタラインML−PET)のバリア層面(蒸着面)に酸変性ポリオレフィン樹脂水性分散体E−1の10%希釈液を乾燥後の塗布量が0.3g/m2 となるように塗布し、100℃で2分間、乾燥させ接着層を形成させた。次いで、押出機を備えたラミネート装置を用いて、接着層の表面にシーラント樹脂としてLDPE(住友化学社製L211)を溶融押出して、30μmのLDPE層からなるシーラント層が形成されたラミネートフィルムを得た。
実施例8においてアルミ蒸着フィルムに変えてシリカ蒸着フィルム(三菱樹脂社製テックバリアVX)を用いた以外は同様の操作でラミネートフィルムを得た。
実施例8においてアルミ蒸着フィルムに変えてアルミナ蒸着フィルム(凸版社製GL−AE)を用いた以外は同様の操作でラミネートフィルムを得た。
実施例8においてアルミ蒸着フィルムに変えて有機バリア層を形成させたバリアフィルム(ユニチカ社製エンブレットDC KPT)を用いた以外は同様の操作でラミネートフィルムを得た。
Claims (7)
- バリア層、接着層およびシーラント層がこの順に積層されてなる包装材料であって、前記接着層として(メタ)アクリル酸エステル成分を含有する酸変性ポリオレフィン樹脂を用いたことを特徴とする包装材料。
- 接着層の量が0.001〜5g/m2の範囲である請求項1記載の包装材料。
- バリア層がアルミニウムであることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の包装材料。
- シーラント層がポリオレフィン樹脂である請求項1〜3いずれかに記載の包装材料。
- シーラント層のポリオレフィン樹脂が、ポリエチレンまたはポリプロピレンを主成分とすることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の包装材料。
- バリア層の上に(メタ)アクリル酸エステル成分を含有する酸変性ポリオレフィン樹脂からなる接着層を形成し、次いで前記接着層を介して、溶融したシーラント樹脂を押出ラミネーションによって積層することを特徴とする包装材料の製造方法。
- (メタ)アクリル酸エステル成分を含有する酸変性ポリオレフィン樹脂の水性分散体をバリア層の上に塗布し、乾燥することにより接着層を形成することを特徴とする請求項6記載の包装材料の製造方法。
