Abstract
【解決手段】メンブレンは支持層20として延伸ポリテトラフルオロエチレンを含み、活性層30としてポリシロキサンを含む。活性層がさらに多孔質セラミックを含むことができる。
【効果】メンブレンは、高安定性であり、高流量、過酷な環境、高温の混合ガス、例えば発電所からの排出ガスから二酸化炭素を分離することができ、強度が高く、選択性が良好であり、引裂強さが大きい。

Description
式中のMはR2 aR3 3−aSiO1/2であり、DはR4 2SiO2/2であり、TはR5SiO3/2であり、R2は、炭素原子数1〜60、例えば炭素原子数1〜30のアルコキシ、アリールオキシ又はアラルコキシ(アリールアルコキシ)であり、R3、R4及びR5は各々独立に炭素原子数1〜60、例えば炭素原子数1〜30、さらに炭素原子数1〜10のアルキル、アリール又はアラルキルであり、aは1〜3の整数であり、q及びsは各々独立に0〜300の整数である。別の実施形態では、q及びsは各々独立に0〜50の整数であり、他の実施形態では、q及びsは各々独立に0〜20の整数である。

- 二酸化炭素を含有する混合ガスから二酸化炭素を分離するメンブレンであって、延伸ポリテトラフルオロエチレン及びポリシロキサンを含む、二酸化炭素分離用メンブレン。
- 混合ガスが二酸化炭素及び窒素を含有する、請求項1記載のメンブレン。
- ポリシロキサンが次式のポリオルガノシロキサンである、請求項1記載のメンブレン。

- 前記支持層が延伸ポリテトラフルオロエチレンを含み、前記活性層がポリシロキサンを含む、請求項20記載の方法。
- 前記支持層の厚さが約10μm〜約50μmの範囲である、請求項20記載の方法。
- 前記活性層の厚さが約10μm〜約600μmの範囲である、請求項20記載の方法。
- 前記活性層がさらに多孔質セラミックを含む、請求項20記載の方法。
- セラミックがゼオライト、Al2O3、Y2O3、MgO、SiO2、Si3N4及びZrO2からなる群から選択される、請求項24記載の方法。
- 前記メンブレンの二酸化炭素透過係数が4000barrer超である、請求項14記載の方法。
- 二酸化炭素を含有する混合ガスから二酸化炭素を分離するメンブレンであって、延伸ポリテトラフルオロエチレンを各々含む2つの支持層及びポリシロキサンを含む1つの活性層を有し、活性層が2つの支持層間に挟まれた、二酸化炭素分離用メンブレン。
