Abstract
【解決手段】1〜15重量%の範囲内でエチレン単位を含有するプロピレン系重合体と、天然鉱物を原料とする水酸化マグネシウムとを含有してなる難燃性樹脂組成物とする。水酸化マグネシウムは、組成物中のポリマー成分100重量部に対して、50〜200重量部であることが好ましい。さらに、スチレン系熱可塑性エラストマーを含有していると良い。前記プロピレン系重合体は、−20℃でのシャルピー衝撃値が3〜8KJ/m2であることが好ましい。そして、上記難燃性樹脂組成物を導体の外周に被覆してなる絶縁電線およびこの絶縁電線を含むワイヤーハーネスとする。

Description
本実施例において使用した供試材料を製造元、商品名、物性値などとともに示す。なお、一部のものについては実験室で試作したものを使用した。
(a1)エチレン−プロピレン共重合体(試作品)[エチレン単位含有率5%、シャルピー衝撃値=5.1KJ/m2]
(a2)エチレン−プロピレン共重合体(試作品)[エチレン単位含有率8%、シャルピー衝撃値=6.4KJ/m2]
(a3)ポリプロピレン[プライムポリマー(株)製、商品名「E−105GM」、エチレン単位含有率0%]
(a4)エチレン−プロピレン共重合体(試作品)[エチレン単位含有率17%、シャルピー衝撃値=8.3KJ/m2]
(b1)スチレン−エチレン−エチレン−プロピレン−スチレン共重合体(SEEPS)[クラレ(株)製、商品名「セプトン4044」]2%酸変性

なお、(b1)、(b5)、(b6)は、購入した商品を実験室で酸変性したものである。これらの酸変性品は、無水マレイン酸がグラフト付加されたものである。
(c1)水酸化マグネシウム[ファイマテック(株)製、商品名「ジュンマグ」]
なお、水酸化マグネシウムは、天然鉱物の粉砕品であり、シランカップリング剤を水酸化マグネシウム100重量部に対して1重量部添加して表面処理したものとした。
(d1)ヒンダードフェノール系酸化防止剤[チバスペシャルティケミカルズ(株)製、商品名「イルガノックス1010」]
初めに、二軸混練機を用いて、後述の表に示す各成分を混合温度250℃にて混合した後、ペレタイザーにてペレット状に成形して本実施例に係る組成物と比較例に係る組成物を得た。次いで、得られた各組成物を、50mm押出機により、軟銅線を7本撚り合わせた軟銅撚線の導体(断面積0.5mm2)の外周に0.25mm厚で押出被覆し、本実施例に係る絶縁電線および比較例に係る絶縁電線を作製した。
以上のように作製した各絶縁電線について、難燃性試験、耐寒性試験、耐摩耗性試験、耐温水性試験、および引張伸び試験を行った。以下に各試験方法および評価方法について説明する。
JASO D611−94に準拠して行った。すなわち、先ず、実施例および比較例に係る絶縁電線を300mmの長さに切り出して試験片とした。次いで、各試験片を鉄製試験箱に入れて水平に支持し、口径10mmのブンゼンバーナーを用いて還元炎の先端を試験片中央部の下側から30秒以内で燃焼するまで当て、炎を静かに取り去った後の残炎時間を測定した。この残炎時間が15秒以内のものを合格とし、15秒を超えるものを不合格とした。
JIS C3005に準拠して行ない、−20℃以下で試験片が全て割れない場合を合格とした。
ISO6722に準拠して行ない、試験回数4回の最小値が300回以上を合格とした。
ISO6722に準拠して行ない、35日後に導体の露出がなく、耐電圧試験で絶縁破壊が起きないことを合格とした。
JASO D611に準拠して行ない、200mm/minでの伸び率が300%以上を合格とした。

- 1〜15重量%の範囲内でエチレン単位を含有するプロピレン系重合体と、天然鉱物を原料とする水酸化マグネシウムとを含有してなることを特徴とする難燃性樹脂組成物。
- 組成物中のポリマー成分100重量部に対して、前記水酸化マグネシウムを50〜200重量部含有してなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の難燃性樹脂組成物。
- さらに、スチレン系熱可塑性エラストマーを含有していることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の難燃性樹脂組成物。

- 前記プロピレン系重合体は、−20℃でのシャルピー衝撃値が3〜8KJ/m2であることを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の難燃性樹脂組成物。
- 請求項1から5のいずれかに記載の難燃性樹脂組成物を導体の外周に被覆してなることを特徴とする絶縁電線。
- 請求項6に記載の絶縁電線を含むことを特徴とするワイヤーハーネス。
