Abstract
【解決手段】本発明の画素は、ゲート電極が走査線Snに接続され、第1電極がデータ線Dmに接続される第1トランジスタM1と、第1トランジスタM1の第2電極にゲート電極が接続され、第1電極が第1電源ELVDDに接続される第2トランジスタM2と、第2トランジスタM2の第2電極に第1電極が接続され、ゲート電極が発光制御線Enに接続される第3トランジスタM3と、第3トランジスタM3の第2電極と第2電源ELVSSとの間に接続される有機発光ダイオードOLEDと、第2トランジスM2のゲート電極と第3トランジスタM3の第2電極との間に接続されるストレージキャパシタCstと、を備える。

Claims (6)
- ゲート電極が走査線に接続され、第1電極がデータ線に接続される第1トランジスタと、
前記第1トランジスタの第2電極にゲート電極が接続され、第1電極が第1電源に接続される第2トランジスタと、
前記第2トランジスタの第2電極に第1電極が接続され、ゲート電極が発光制御線に接続される第3トランジスタと、
前記第3トランジスタの第2電極と第2電源との間に接続される有機発光ダイオードと、
前記第2トランジスタのゲート電極と前記第3トランジスタの第2電極との間に接続されるストレージキャパシタと、
を備えることを特徴とする、画素。 - 前記第1電源は、前記第2電源よりも高い電圧値に設定されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の画素。
- 走査線に走査信号を順次供給し、発光制御線に発光制御信号を順次供給する走査駆動部と、
データ線にデータ信号を供給するデータ駆動部と、
前記走査線及び前記データ線に接続される複数の画素と、
を備え、
各々の前記画素は、
前記走査線及び前記データ線に接続され、前記走査信号が供給されるとターンオンする第1トランジスタと、
前記第1トランジスタがターンオンした時に、前記データ信号に対応する電圧を充電するストレージキャパシタと、
前記ストレージキャパシタに充電された電圧に対応する電流を、第1電源から有機発光ダイオードを経由して第2電源に供給する第2トランジスタと、
前記第2トランジスタと前記有機発光ダイオードとの間に接続され、前記発光制御信号に対応してターンオン及びターンオフする第3トランジスタと、
を備え、
前記ストレージキャパシタは、前記第2トランジスタのゲート電極と前記有機発光ダイオードのアノード電極との間に接続され、前記有機発光ダイオードに電流が供給されるとき、前記有機発光ダイオードの電圧変化量を前記第2トランジスタのゲート電極に伝達することを特徴とする、有機電界発光表示装置。 - 前記第3トランジスタは、前記発光制御信号が供給されるときにターンオフし、前記発光制御信号が供給されないときはターンオンすることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- i(iは、自然数)番目の発光制御線に供給される発光制御信号は、i番目の走査線に供給される走査信号と重畳することを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記有機発光ダイオードの電圧変化量は、前記有機発光ダイオードの閾値電圧から電流が供給されるとき前記有機発光ダイオードに印加される電圧であることを特徴とする、請求項3〜5のいずれかに記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
