Abstract
【解決手段】本燃料インジェクタは、中心本体(12)と該中心本体との間に環状の混合セクション(16)を形成するように中心本体の半径方向外側に配置されたケーシング(14)とを含む。本燃料インジェクタは、燃焼用空気の第1の部分(22)を混合セクション内に噴射する空気入口(例えば、18)を含む。燃料入口(32)が、燃料(34)を混合セクション内に噴射するように中心本体内に配置される。中心本体内に配置された燃料導管(48)が燃料を燃料入口に導き、燃料導管内に配置されたバルブ(50)が混合セクション内への燃料噴射を選択的に制御する。バルブは、正確なタイミング噴射を行うのに十分なほど燃料入口に近接させて配置することができる。本インジェクタは、燃料/空気混合気(60)を吐出するようになった混合セクションの出口(19)を含む。

Claims (10)
- 内燃エンジン用の燃料インジェクタ(10)であって、
中心本体(12)と、
前記中心本体(12)との間に環状の混合セクション(16)を形成するように該中心本体(12)の半径方向外側に配置されたケーシング(14)と、
燃焼用空気(24)の第1の部分(22)を前記混合セクション(16)内に軸方向に噴射するように該混合セクション(16)の上流端部(20)に配置された軸方向空気入口(18)と、
燃焼用空気(24)の第2の部分(28)を前記混合セクション(16)内に半径方向に噴射するように前記圧力境界面(14)内に配置された半径方向空気入口(26)と、
燃料を前記混合セクション(16)内に噴射するように前記軸方向空気入口(18)の下流側で前記中心本体(12)内に配置された燃料入口(32)と、
前記混合セクション(16)内に半径方向に噴射された前記燃焼用空気(24)の第2の部分(28)によって軸方向に延びる渦(58)を発生させるように該混合セクション(16)内に配置されて、該燃料インジェクタ(10)の出口(19)における燃料/空気混合気(60)を生成するために前記噴射した燃焼用空気(24)の第1の部分(22)及び第2の部分(28)との前記噴射した燃料(46)の混合を促進する渦発生装置(56)とを含む、
燃料インジェクタ(10)。 - 前記燃料入口(32)が、上流に向いた軸方向速度成分を有する状態で燃料を噴射するように構成される、請求項1記載の燃料インジェクタ(10)。
- 前記燃料入口(32)が、前記半径方向空気入口(26)に対して角度的に偏位している、請求項1記載の燃料インジェクタ(10)。
- 前記燃料入口(32)に燃料(46)を導くように前記中心本体(12)内に配置された燃料導管(48)をさらに含む、請求項1記載の燃料インジェクタ(10)。
- 前記混合セクション(16)内への燃料噴射を選択的に制御するように前記燃料導管(48)内に配置されたバルブ(50)をさらに含む、請求項4記載の燃料インジェクタ(10)。
- 前記半径方向入口が、前記第1のケーシング(14)の少なくとも一部分内で軸方向に延びる複数の環状に間隔を置いて配置したスロット(30)を含む、請求項1記載の燃料インジェクタ(10)。
- 前記渦発生装置(32)が、前記中心本体(12)の外面(44)内に形成された複数の環状に間隔を置いて配置したベーン(62)を含む、請求項6記載の燃料インジェクタ(10)。
- 前記ベーン(62)が、前記中心本体(12)の少なくとも軸方向部分に沿って延びかつ前記中心本体(12)から少なくとも部分的に前記混合セクション(16)内に半径方向外向きに配向される、請求項7記載の燃料インジェクタ(10)。
- 前記ベーン(62)が、前記半径方向入口(26)のそれぞれのスロット(30)と整列した第1の複数の尖端部分(64)を含み、前記半径方向に噴射した空気(例えば、28)が、前記尖端部分(64)によって分割されて該半径方向に噴射した空気(28)によってそれぞれの対向反転渦(58)を発生させるようになる、請求項8記載の燃料インジェクタ(10)。
- 前記ベーン(62)が、前記半径方向空気入口(26)のスロット(30)に対して角度的に偏位した第2の複数の尖端部分(70)を含む、請求項9記載の燃料インジェクタ(10)。
