Abstract
Description
本発明は、少なくともある程度ではあるが、少なくとも2種類の重合体成分を含んで成っていて一方の成分が弾力性を示しかつもう一方の成分が弾力性がより低い伸張性のある多数のストランドから生じさせて結合させた不織ウエブに増分的引き伸ばし(incremental stretching)を受けさせておくと本分野におけるいろいろな問題を克服することができることを驚くべきことに見いだしたことが基になっている。
(発明の詳細な説明)
本発明を本発明の具体的な態様と併せて本明細書の以下により詳細に説明するが、それを本開示が徹底的で完全であるように示しかつ本発明の範囲が本分野の技術者に完全に伝えられるように示す。しかしながら、本発明は多種多様な形態で具体化可能でありかつ本発明を本明細書に記述して説明する具体的な態様に限定するとして解釈されるべきでないと理解されるべきである。以下の説明で特定の用語を用いるが、そのような用語は単に説明の目的であり、本発明の範囲を限定することも制限することも意図しない。追加的注釈として、全体に渡って同様な数字は同様な要素を指す。
a)ストランドを紡糸口金から押出し、
b)溶融状態のストランドの固化を早める目的で一般に冷却しておいた空気の流れを用いて前記ストランドを急冷し、
c)延伸張力(draw tension)[フィラメントを空気流れの中に空気圧で引き込むか或は織物繊維産業で通常用いられている種類の機械的延伸用ロールの回りにフィラメントを巻き付けることでかけることができる]をかけながらフィラメントをクエンチゾーン(quench zone)の中に進めることでそれらを細くし、
d)その延伸を受けたストランドを小孔のある表面の上に集めてウエブを生じさせ、そして
e)その拘束されていないストランドのウエブを結合させることで布を生じさせる。
a)ストランドを紡糸口金から押出し、
b)加熱しておいた空気の高速流れを用いて重合体流れを急冷することと細くすることを紡糸口金の直ぐ下で同時に起こさせ[このような手段を用いると、一般に、前記ストランドが延伸を受けて直径が非常に小さくなる。しかしながら、空気の体積を小さくしかつ速度を遅くすることで、通常の織物用繊維のデニールと同様なデニールを有するストランドを生じさせることができる]、
c)その延伸を受けたストランドを小孔のある表面の上に集めてウエブを生じさせる。
メルトブローンウエブ(meltblown webs)をいろいろな手段で結合させることができるが、しばしばウエブの中のフィラメントを絡ませるか或はゴム弾性体の場合には自然発生的に結合させることで、それをロールに巻き上げるに充分な引張り強度を得る。
Claims (30)
- 弾力性のある不織布を製造する方法であって、ストランドの長さ方向に沿って縦方向に同一の広がりを持つ1番目と2番目の重合体成分を有していて前記1番目の成分がゴム弾性重合体を含んで成りそして前記2番目の重合体成分が前記1番目の重合体成分より弾力性が低い重合体を含んで成る多成分ストランドを多数含んで成る不織ウエブを少なくとも1つの方向に増分的に引き伸ばすことで前記不織ウエブの弾力性を活性化させて弾力性のある不織布を生じさせることを含んで成る方法。
- 前記不織ウエブが、
ストランドの長さ方向に沿って縦方向に同一の広がりを持つ1番目と2番目の重合体成分を有していて前記1番目の成分がゴム弾性重合体を含んで成りそして前記2番目の重合体成分が非ゴム弾性重合体を含んで成る多数の多成分ストランドを溶融紡糸し、
前記多成分ストランドを成形して不織ウエブを生じさせ、そして
前記ストランドを結合させるか或は絡み合わせることで互いに凝集して結合した不織ウエブを生じさせる、
ことで生じさせたものである請求項1記載の方法。 - 前記ウエブを増分的に引き伸ばす段階が前記多成分ストランドのある部分が引き伸ばしで活性化されて弾力性を示すようになる一方で前記ストランドの他の部分は引き伸ばしで活性化されないで弾力性が実質的により低いように前記布を引き伸ばすことを含んで成る請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記ウエブを増分的に引き伸ばすことが前記多成分ストランドの実質的に全部が引き伸ばしで活性化されて弾力性を示すようになるように前記布を引き伸ばすことを含んで成る請求項1記載の方法。

- ゴム弾性成分と前記ゴム弾性成分より弾力性が低い成分を含んで成る多成分繊維であって、前記ゴム弾性成分の回りでかさ高くなった弾力性が低い方の成分を含有する全体として螺旋形の形態を示す多成分繊維。
- 前記繊維が増分的引き伸ばしを受けている請求項26記載の繊維。
- 多数の層を含んで成る衣類であって、前記層の中の少なくとも1層が請求項16記載の不織布を含んで成る衣類。
- 該衣類がトレーニングパンツ、おむつ、吸収性のあるパンツ、失禁用製品、女性衛生用品、労働用衣服、作業服、頭を覆う物、ズボン、シャツ、手袋、靴下、手術衣、外科的ドレープ、フェイスマスク、手術帽、手術用フード、靴を覆う物またはブーツスリッパである請求項28記載の衣類。
- 請求項26記載の多成分繊維を製造する方法であって、葉、好適には葉の全部を限定するスロットの中の少なくとも1つがダイスブロックの面に対して90度ではない角度で切断されている多葉形紡糸口金デザインを用いる方法。
