Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guard rail which is free from or prevents a risk of adhesion of a metallic leaf to a connection portion of guard rail sections, caused by a colliding accident of an automobile or the like to the guard rail, and a risk of causing laceration on a pedestrian or a human body riding on a bicycle, caused by the metallic leaf. <P>SOLUTION: According to the structure of the guard rail, ends of the guard rail sections (3), (4) are connected together in a manner being flush with each other, and a pole (2) is secured to the connection portion, to thereby prevent adhesion of a metallic leaf to the connection portion. Description

Detailed Description of the Invention

The present invention relates to a guardrail, and prevents a laceration that occurs when a metal piece attached to a guardrail such as a pedestrian or a bicycle comes into contact with the guardrail.

The material of the guardrail is an iron plate, the joint of the guardrail is in the direction of travel, the front guard is on the roadway side, the next guardrail is overlapped with the bolt on the outside of the roadway, and it is connected by bolts, etc. A metal piece of an automobile or the like adheres to the projection of the bolt connection portion, and the human body is torn by the sharp cut surface.

Problems to be solved by the invention
