Abstract

Claims (10)
- 無線通信装置の送信電力の調整方法であって、
前記無線通信装置と受信無線通信装置との間の無線通信の要件を決定し、
前記無線通信の現在の送信電力レベルを前記無線通信の要件を調整せずに低下できるか判定し、
前記無線通信の前記現在の送信電力レベルを前記無線通信の要件を調整せずに低下できるときに、前記現在の送信電力レベルを第2の送信電力レベルへ調整することであって、該第2の送信電力レベルが前記現在の送信電力レベルに満たないことを含む、方法。 - 前記無線通信の前記現在の送信電力レベルを前記無線通信の前記要件を調整せずに低下できないときに、前記無線通信の前記要件のうち少なくとも一つを調整して前記無線通信の調整可能な要件を生成できるか判定し、
前記無線通信の前記要件のうち少なくとも一つが調整できるときに、前記無線通信の前記現在の送信電力レベルを前記無線通信の調整可能な要件に基づき低下できるか判定し、
前記無線通信の前記調整可能な要件に基づき前記無線通信の前記現在の送信電力レベルが低下できるときに、
前記現在の送信電力レベルを第3の送信電力レベルへ調整することであって、該第3の送信電力レベルが前記現在送信電力レベルに満たないことと、
前記無線通信の前記要件のうち少なくとも一つを調整し、該無線通信の調整された要件を生成することをさらに含む、請求項1記載の方法。 - 前記現在の送信電力レベルを調整することは、
前記送信電力を前記無線通信要件を調整せずに最低の送信電力レベルへ調整できるか判定し、
前記無線通信要件を調整せずに前記送信電力を前記最低の送信電力レベルへ調整できるときに、前記現在の送信電力レベルを前記第2の送信電力レベルとして前記最低の送信電力レベルへ調整することを含む、請求項1記載の方法。 - 前記無線通信要件を調整せずに前記送信電力を前記最低の送信電力レベルへ調整できないときに、前記無線通信要件を調整せずに前記現在の送信電力を調整できる送信電力レベルを決定し、
前記送信電力レベルが所望サービス品質の前記無線通信を提供しているか判定し、
前記送信電力レベルが前記所望サービス品質の前記無線通信を提供しているときに、前記現在の送信電力を前記送信電力レベルへ調整することをさらに含む、請求項3記載の方法。 - 前記送信電力レベルが前記所望サービス品質の前記無線通信を提供していないときに、少なくとも前記無線通信要件を調整して調整された無線通信を生成し、
前記調整された無線通信要件を調整せずに前記送信電力を前記最低の送信電力レベルへ調整できるか判定し、
前記調整された無線通信要件を調整せずに前記送信電力を前記最低の送信電力へ調整できるときに、前記現在の送信電力レベルを前記第2の送信電力レベルとして前記最低の送信電力レベルへ調整し、
前記調整された無線通信要件を調整せずに前記送信電力を前記最低の送信電力レベルへ調整できないときに、前記調整された無線通信要件を調整せずに前記現在の送信電力を調整できる第2の送信電力レベルを決定し、
前記第2の送信電力レベルが所望サービス品質の前記調整された無線通信をもたらすか判定し、
前記第2の送信電力レベルが前記所望サービス品質の前記調整された無線通信をもたらすときに、前記現在の送信電力を前記第2の送信電力レベルへ調整することをさらに含む、請求項4記載の方法。 - 前記無線通信要件が、
帯域と、
データレートと、
信号対ノイズ比と、
隣接チャンネル妨害
のうち少なくとも一つを含む、請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 前記無線通信の前記現在の送信電力レベルを前記無線通信要件を調整せずに低下できるか判定することは、
前記無線通信の最低の所望サービス品質を決定することであって、該最低の所望サービス品質が信号対ノイズ比と隣接チャンネル妨害とデータ処理能力と帯域割り当てのうち少なくとも一つを含むことと、
前記現在の送信電力レベルに基づき前記無線通信の現在のサービス品質を決定し、
前記最低の所望サービス品質を前記現在のサービス品質と比較し、
前記最低の所望サービス品質を前記現在のサービス品質と比較した結果が好都合であるときに、前記無線通信の前記現在の送信電力レベルが前記無線通信要件を調整せずに低下できることを示すことを含む、請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 第1チャンネル上の前記無線通信と第2チャンネル上の第2の無線通信用の電力増幅器の総送信電力レベルが容認できないか判定し、
前記総送信電力が容認できないときに、前記無線通信と前記第2の無線通信の要件を調整せずに前記総送信電力レベルを低下できるか判定し、
前記無線通信と前記第2の無線通信の前記要件を調整せずに前記総送信電力が低下できるときに、該総送信電力レベルを低減することを含む、請求項1乃至7のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 第1チャンネル上の無線通信の現在の送信電力レベルと第2チャンネル上の第2の無線通信の現在の第2の送信電力レベルが容認できないレベルの隣接チャンネル妨害又は容認できないレベルの総送信電力を生み出しているか判定し、
前記容認できない総送信電力又は前記容認できない隣接チャンネル妨害が判定されたときに、前記無線通信の現在の前記第2の送信電力レベルが前記第2の無線通信要件を調整せずに低下できるか判定し、
前記第2の無線通信要件を調整せずに前記無線通信の前記第2の送信電力レベルを低下できるときに、前記現在の第2の送信電力レベルを第3の送信電力レベルへ調整することであって、前記第3の送信電力レベルが前記現在の送信電力レベルに満たないことを含む、請求項1乃至8のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 外部出力データを外部出力ベースバンド信号へ変換するよう作動的に結合した処理モジュールと、
前記外部出力ベースバンド信号を外部出力高周波(RF)信号へ変換するよう作動的に結合した送信器部であって、前記処理モジュールをさらに作動的に結合して請求項1乃至9のいずれか1項に記載の方法を遂行する前記送信器部とを備える、ことを特徴とする無線送信器。
