Abstract
【解決手段】基材上に形成される防曇性被膜を得るための塗布剤で、以下の(A)〜(D)の混合物及び溶媒からなるものとすること。

(防曇性被膜形成用塗布剤の調製)
有機イソシアネートとして、ヘキサメチレンジイソシアネートのビューレットタイプポリイソシアネート(商品名「N3200」住友バイエルウレタン製)を準備し、これを塗布剤Aとした。
フロート法によって得られた100mm×100mm(2mm厚)のガラス基材上に上記で得られた塗布剤をスピンコートにより塗布し、スピンコート直後に水平を保った状態で、目視で歪がなくなるまで静置しておく。レベリング中の外観観察においてスピンコートによる放射状のスジが消えるまでの時間で求めたところ、1分以内にスジは無くなり、その後の約150℃約30分間の熱処理で、膜厚16μmの防曇性被膜を形成後も良好な外観を維持していた。
実施例1での塗布剤Bの調製での各成分の混合割合をスルフォン酸アミン塩及びエチレンオキサイド/プロピレングオキサイドの共重合体ポリオールを50重量部、ポリエチレングリコールを15重量部、アクリルポリオールを35重量部とし、100gの塗布剤Bへの塗布剤Aの添加混合量を43gとした以外は実施例1と同様の操作を行い膜厚18μmの防曇性被膜を形成した。尚、本実施例の塗布剤は、1分以内にレベリングが完了し、実施例1と同様に優れたものであった。得られた防曇性物品は、表1に示すように、各種防曇性能、各種磨耗性、耐水性が優れた防曇性被膜であることが確認された。
実施例1での塗布剤Bの調製での各成分の混合割合をスルフォン酸アミン塩及びエチレンオキサイド/プロピレングオキサイドの共重合体ポリオールを75重量部、ポリエチレングリコールを5重量部、アクリルポリオールを25重量部とし、100gの塗布剤Bへの塗布剤Aの添加混合量を44gとした以外は実施例1と同様の操作を行い膜厚21μmの防曇性被膜を形成した。尚、本実施例の塗布剤は、1分以内にレベリングが完了し、実施例1と同様に優れたものであった。得られた防曇性物品は、表1に示すように、各種防曇性能、各種磨耗性、耐水性が優れた防曇性被膜であることが確認された。
塗布剤Bの内、アクリルポリオールのみを使用し、100gの塗布剤Bに対し、34gの塗布剤Aを添加混合量した以外は実施例1と同様の操作で行い、膜厚25μmの被膜を形成した。本比較例の塗布剤は、レベリング性は良好であったが、得られた物品は、表1に示すように、防曇性をまったく示さないものであった。
塗布剤Bにアクリルポリオールを加えず、スルフォン酸アミン塩及びエチレンオキサイド/プロピレングオキサイドの共重合体ポリオールが80重量部、ポリエチレングリコールが20重量部となるように、前記溶液1、及びポリエチレングリコールを混合し、これを塗布剤Bとした。
塗布剤Bに吸水性ポリオールであるポリエチレングリコール、及び疎水性ポリオールのアクリルポリオールを加えず、「VISGARD−A」だけとしたものを塗布剤Bとした。100gの塗布剤Bに対して、40gの塗布剤Aを添加混合した以外は、実施例1と同様の操作を行い、膜厚22μmの防曇性被膜を形成した。尚、本比較例の塗布剤は、レベリング完了にレベリング性については、約4分間要し、レベリング性が劣っていた。また、得られた防曇性物品は、表1に示すように、耐トラバース磨耗性試験において布が膜面に付着し外観不良となると共に、耐水性が劣っていた。
塗布剤Bにアクリルポリオールを加えず、代りに平均分子量1250のポリカプロラクトンジオールが5重量部、短鎖ポリオールの1,4ブタンジオールが5重量部となるようにし、100gの塗布剤Bに対し、46gの塗布剤Aを添加混合した以外は、実施例1と同様の操作を行い、膜厚24μmの防曇性被膜を形成した。本比較例の塗布剤は、レベリング完了に約5分間要し、レベリング性が劣っていた。
比較例4組成に対して、レベリング剤として、ポリエーテル変性シリコーン(商品名「L−7607N」日本ユニカー製)を塗布剤に対して、0.05重量%となるように加え、その後は、実施例1と同様な操作を行い、膜厚18μmの防曇性被膜を形成した。本比較例の塗布剤は、1分以内でレベリングが完了したが、得られた防曇性物品は、防曇性評価において、曇りが発生した。
Claims (6)
- 基材上に形成される防曇性被膜を得るための塗布剤で、以下の(A)〜(D)の混合物及び溶媒からなることを特徴とする防曇性被膜形成用塗布剤。
(A)有機イソシアネート
(B)吸水性ポリオール
(C)アクリルポリオール
(D)活性水素基含有界面活性剤 - 吸水性ポリオールがポリオキシアルキレン系のポリオールであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の防曇性被膜形成用塗布剤。
- ポリオキシアルキレン系のポリオールが、平均分子量400〜2000のポリエチレングリコールであることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の防曇性被膜形成用塗布剤。
- ポリオキシアルキレン系のポリオールが、平均分子量400〜2000のポリエチレングリコール、及び平均分子量1500〜5000のオキシエチレン/オキシプロピレンの共重合体ポリオールとの混合物であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の防曇性被膜形成用塗布剤。
- 吸水性ポリオール由来の吸水成分、アクリルポリオール由来のアクリル成分、及び架橋に結合した界面活性剤を有するウレタン系防曇性被膜と基材からなる防曇性物品。
- 請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の塗布剤を基材に塗布後、被塗布剤を硬化することを特徴とする防曇性被膜と基材とからなる防曇性物品の製造法。
