Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide facility information book-marked for a specified user as facility information that will be probably liked by another user. <P>SOLUTION: User terminals such as on-vehicle terminal and notebook personal computer NP loaded on vehicles 3A and 3B are connected to a road information center 1 through a network 2. The facility liked by a certain specified user is made into a database so that it is book-marked in the information center 1 while matching the specified user to the facility information. According to this, the specified user can receive the providing of a desired piece of facility information from the facility information book-marked for himself/herself, and also receives the providing of the route guide to the provided facility information (facility). When an inquiry for desired facility information is made to the information center 1 from the other user differed from the specified user, the facility information book-marked, for example, for a specified user having the same attribute (e.g., sex, age, family structure, etc.) as the other user is retrieved, and the retrieved facility information is provided to the other user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO

【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、施設情報を提供するための情報センタ、および情報提供するためのコンピュータ用プログラムに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
最近の車両では、ＧＰＳを利用したナビゲーションシステムを搭載したものが多くなっている。このナビゲーションシステムは基本的には、地図情報を記憶した記憶媒体と、自車位置を取得するＧＰＳアンテナと、ディスプレイとを備えており、ディスプレイ上に表示された道路地図上にＧＰＳアンテナによって取得された自車位置を表示するものとなっている。そして、最近では、ＶＩＣＳによって、主要路の渋滞情報を取得して、この取得した渋滞情報をディスプレイに表示されている道路地図上に表示することも行われている。また、現在地から設定された目的地までの誘導経路を決定（演算）して、ディスプレイに表示された道路地図上にこの誘導経路を表示することも行われている。

一方、最近では、道路地図に関連させた特別のサービスを、特別に契約した会員の車両に対して提供することが行われており、この特別のサービスを行うために、上記会員となった者の車両（の車載端末）にネットワークを介して接続された道路情報センタが設置されている（例えば特開平１１−１４３３５８号公報参照）。この道路情報センタが提供する特別なサービスの一態様として、例えば車両周辺の詳細な道路地図の提供や、より詳細な渋滞情報の提供、さらにはこの渋滞を避けて現在地から目的地までの迂回路の提供に加えて、各種の施設情報の提供等がある。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで、道路情報センタで行われているような施設情報を提供する情報センタは、極めて多くの施設情報をデータベースとして記憶しておく必要があるが、この施設情報に関するデータベースそのものは専門業者等から有料で購入しているのが実情である。このようなデータベースはかなり高価である一方、かなりの頻度で更新する必要がある。

一方、最近の情報センタでは、ユーザ毎に、特定の施設情報をお気に入りとして登録（記憶）しておくことが考えられている。すなわち、あるユーザがある施設を訪れたときに、大変気に入って次も訪問したいと考えたとき、この施設をお気に入りとして情報センタに登録しておくことが考えられている。このような情報センタでのお気に入りの登録は、特定のユーザと特定の施設情報とが対応づけられて記憶されることになる。そして、特定のユーザが、別の機会にお気に入りの施設に向かうときに、お気に入り登録されている施設の中から所望の施設を選択して、この選択した施設へ向けての経路誘導を情報センタに行ってもらう等のことが考えられている。

ところで、ある特定のユーザがお気に入り登録した施設情報は、この特定のユーザ専用のものとされるのが一般的である。この一方、ある特定のユーザがお気に入り登録した施設は、他のユーザにとってもお気に入りとなる可能性がある。特に、お気に入り登録している特定ユーザと同一属性（例えば年齢層、性別や家族構成が同一）を有する他のユーザにおいては、特定ユーザがお気に入り登録してある施設についてお気に入りとなる可能性が高いものとなる。

本発明は以上のような事情を勘案してなされたもので、その目的は、特定ユーザ向けにお気に入り登録されている施設情報を、他のユーザに対しても気に入ってもらう可能性の高い施設情報提供用のデータベースとして有効に利用できるようにした情報センタおよび情報提供するためのコンピュータ用プログラムを提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
前記目的を達成するため、本発明にあっては、次のような解決手法を採択してある。すなわち、特許請求の範囲における請求項１に記載のように、
多数のユーザ端末に対してネットワークを介して接続されると共に、多数の施設情報を記憶してなるデータベースを有しており、ユーザ端末からの要求に応じて該データベース中の施設情報を該ユーザ端末に提供する情報センタであって、
前記情報センタは、
ユーザ毎にそれぞれ、ユーザと該ユーザのお気に入りの施設情報とを対応づけてなるユーザ毎情報を登録しておく登録機能と、
ユーザの要求に応じて、該要求のあるユーザに対応した前記ユーザ毎情報に登録されているお気に入りの施設情報を提供する特定ユーザ向けの施設情報提供機能と、
ユーザの要求に応じて、該要求のあるユーザとは異なるユーザに対応して登録されているお気に入りの施設情報を提供する不特定ユーザ向けの施設情報提供機能と、
を備えているようにしてある。これにより、特定ユーザ用として登録されているお気に入りの施設情報をこの特定ユーザに利用させつつ、特定ユーザとは異なる不特定ユーザに対してもこのお気に入りの施設情報を適宜提供することができる。つまり、ユーザの好みを含めた施設情報についてのデータベースが、ユーザがお気に入り登録する毎に自動的に更新、入手されることとなって、ユーザの要求に応じた的確な施設情報を提供することが可能になる。

上記解決手法を前提とした好ましい態様は、特許請求の範囲における請求項２〜請求項８に記載とおりである。すなわち、

ようにすることができる（請求項４対応）。この場合、不特定ユーザの自宅付近にあるために当該不特定ユーザがよく知っている可能性の高い施設情報を提供してしまう事態を防止する上で好ましいものとなる。

ようにすることができる（請求項８対応）。この場合、提供された施設情報について、不特定ユーザが十分に満足のいく可能性が高いものとなる。

前記目的を達成するため、本発明における情報提供するためのコンピュータ用プログラムにあっては、次のような解決手法を採択してある。すなわち、特許請求の範囲における請求項９に記載のように、
データベース中の多数の施設情報の中から、ユーザ端末からの要求に応じた施設情報を提供するための情報提供用のコンピュータ用プログラムであって、
ユーザ端末からの操作を受けて、ユーザ毎にそれぞれ、ユーザと該ユーザのお気に入りの施設情報とを対応づけてなるユーザ毎情報を登録させる手順Ａと、
ユーザ端末からの操作を受けて、ユーザの要求に応じて、該要求のあるユーザに対応した前記ユーザ毎情報に登録されているお気に入りの施設情報を提供する手順Ｂと、
ユーザ端末からの操作を受けて、ユーザの要求に応じて、該要求のあるユーザとは異なるユーザに対応して登録されているお気に入りの施設情報を提供する手順Ｃと、
を実行させるようにしてある。これにより、情報センタにこのプログラムを組み込むことにより、請求項１に対応した情報センタを簡単に構築することができる。
上記解決手法を前提とした好ましい態様は、特許請求の範囲における請求項１０以下に記載のとおりであるが、請求項１０は請求項２に対応し、請求項１１は請求項３に対応し、請求項１２は請求項４に対応し、請求項１３は請求項５に対応し、請求項１４は請求項６に対応し、請求項１５は請求項７に対応し、請求請求項１６は請求項８に対応している。

【発明の効果】
本発明によれば、ユーザによるお気に入り登録を、施設情報についてのデータベースの入手、更新用としても機能させて、より多くのユーザに的確な施設情報を提供することができる。

【発明の実施の形態】
図１において、１は情報センタとしての道路情報センタ、２は例えばインターネット等を利用したネットワーク、３Ａ、３Ｂはそれぞれユーザ端末としての車載端末を装備した多数の車両である（図１では例示的に２台の車両のみを示す）。道路情報センタ１は、例えば有線によってネットワーク２に対して送受信可能に接続されており、各車両３Ａ、３Ｂは、ネットワーク２に対してアンテナ４を利用して無線によって送受信可能とされている。また、ネットワーク２に対しては、道路情報センタ１の運営会社と会員契約を締結したユーザの所有するパソコン等のユーザ端末ＮＰが接続されている。これにより、道路情報センタ１と各車両３Ａ、３Ｂとユーザ端末ＮＰとは、ネットワーク２を介して送受信可能に接続されることになる。

道路情報センタ１は、演算処理装置としてのサーバ１０と、それぞれサーバ１０に接続された例えば３つの記憶手段１１、１２、１３とを有する。記憶手段１１は、主要路と細街路とを含む道路地図情報を記憶しており、通常のナビゲーションシステムに搭載される道路地図情報よりもより詳細なものとなっている。この記憶手段１１は、主要路についての渋滞情報をも記憶している。なお、この渋滞情報は、渋滞情報を配信する各種情報センタとの間での交信等を利用して、常時最新のものに更新される。記憶手段１２は、各種の施設に関する情報を記憶しているものである。記憶手段１３は、契約している会員のデータを記憶している他、記憶手段１２に記憶されている施設についてユーザ毎のお気に入りを登録しているものである。すなわち、ある特定のユーザのお気に入り登録の選択があったときに、この特定ユーザとこの特定ユーザによって選択された特定の施設とが対応付けて記憶されている。

各車両３Ａ、３Ｂは、それぞれユーザ端末としての車載端末を装備しており、この実施形態ではナビゲーションシステムに組み込まれて構成されている。すなわち、実施形態では、図２に示すように、ナビゲーションシステムＮＢは、マイクロコンピュータを利用して構成されたコントローラ２１と、道路地図情報を記憶している記憶装置２２（例えばＣＤ−ＲＯＭ、ＣＶＤ−ＲＯＭ、ＨＤＤ等の記憶媒体を利用して構成される）と、道路地図等を表示するディスプレイ２３と、自車位置情報を取得するＧＰＳアンテナ２４と、渋滞情報を取得するＶＩＣＳ２５と、各種の操作を行うためのリモコン２６の他、前述の道路情報センタ１との交信を行うための無線用アンテナ２７とを有する。

ナビゲーションシステムＮＢは、道路情報センタ１からの情報を利用しない通常の使用状態では、既知のナビゲーションシステムと全く同様に作用する。すなわち、基本的には、ディスプレイ２３上において、ＧＰＳアンテナ２４で取得された自車位置と、その周辺の道路地図とが表示される（表示される道路地図は、自車位置の周辺のものが記憶装置２２に記憶されている道路地図情報中から選択されて表示）。また、現在地からマニュアル設定された目的地までの経路誘導や、その途中にある主要路が渋滞しているときは、この渋滞を避ける迂回路を提供（表示）する機能をも有する。なお、上述したことは、既に市販のナビゲーションシステムにおいて行われていることなので、これ以上詳細な説明は省略する。

道路情報センタ１と交信可能な各車両３Ａ、３Ｂは、道路情報センタ１を運営する運営会社との間で会員契約を締結しており、通常市販のナビゲーションシステムでは提供されていない特別なサービスが道路情報センタ１を利用して受けることが可能となっている。上記特別なサービスとして、自車位置付近の極めて詳細な道路地図情報の提供、渋滞の迂回路の提供、各種施設の詳細情報等がある。すなわち、例えば車両３Ａが上記特別なサービスを受けることを要求することを例えばリモコン２６を利用して操作すると、コントローラ２１はこの特別なサービスを受ける特別なモードとなって、ディスプレイ２３には、記憶装置２２に記憶されている道路地図情報に優先して、道路情報センタ１から送信される道路地図情報を表示したり、要求された施設情報を表示する。ノートパソコンＮＰについても、ナビゲーションシステムＮＢと同様であり、道路情報センタ１から施設情報を入手可能となっている。

次に、道路情報センタ１を利用した施設情報の提供について説明するが、このような施設情報の提供は、リモコン２６を操作することによって、例えば車両３ＡあるいはノートパソコンＮＰから道路情報センタ１に対して施設情報を要求する旨の送信を行うことによって行われる。

まず、図３は、道路情報センタ１の記憶手段１２に記憶されている施設情報（データベース）の一例を示す。この図３において、縦欄における１つの行がある施設に関するものであり、横欄における多数の列がこの１つの施設についての詳細情報を示すものとなっている。すなわち、施設情報が記載されている横欄のうち、列ａは施設の識別番号であり、列ｂは施設の名称であり、複数ある列ｃは施設の分類であり（図３では食べるの分類が示される）、複数ある列ｄは施設の位置を示すものである。また、列ｅは施設の電話番号であり、列ｆは施設のテキスト形式での詳細情報である（例えば、営業日、営業時間、高級あるいは大衆向けとか、家族向きとか、高齢者向けとか、ペット持ち込みの可あるいは不可等の各種情報）。列ｇは、お気に入り登録されている数を示すものであり、列ｈは、過去に経路誘導された数を示すものである。例えば、施設番号「１」の「○○亭」に着目してみると、お気に入り登録されている数は「１３」であり、過去に経路誘導された回数は「１１」となっている。

図４は、道路情報センタ１と会員契約している会員のユーザデータ例を示すものであり、記憶手段１３に記憶されている内容例を示す。この図４において、縦欄はユーザの区別を示し、横欄は、各ユーザ毎の詳細情報が記載されている。すなわち、横欄の列ｍにはユーザのＩＤ番号が記載され、列ｎには氏名が記載され、列ｏには住所が記載され、列ｐには電話番号が記載されている。また、列ｑには年齢が記載され、列ｒには性別が記載され、列ｓには趣味が記載され、列ｔには家族構成が記載されている。

図５は、記憶手段１３に記憶されているお気に入り登録の一例を示すもので、このお気に入り登録は、ユーザの選択によって行われるものである。この図５において、縦欄が各施設の区別を示すもので、横欄に各施設毎の情報が記載されている。すなわち、横欄の列ｕには、お気に入り登録したユーザ毎のＩＤ番号が記載され、列ｖには施設の電話番号が記載されている。また、列ｗには施設の名称が記載され、列ｘには過去の経路誘導の有無が記載されている。

道路情報センタ１による施設情報の提供態様としては、次の２種類がある。その第１の提供態様は、特定ユーザがお気に入り登録した施設情報を、この特定ユーザに提供することである。より具体的には、ある特定ユーザ（例えばユーザＩＤが「１１２」の者）が、自分（ＩＤ番号が「１１２」の者）用にお気に入り登録してある施設情報の提供を受ける場合であり、提供されたお気に入り登録されている施設情報の利用の態様としては、例えば提供された施設情報の中から所望の１つの施設を選択して、この選択した施設までの経路誘導を道路情報センタ１に行ってもらうことが考えられる。

道路情報センタ１による施設情報の提供のうち第２の提供態様は、他人（不特定ユーザ）がお気に入り登録してある施設情報を提供することである。すなわち、ある特定ユーザ（例えばＩＤ番号が１１２」の者）がお気に入り登録してある施設情報を、この特定ユーザとは別人である不特定ユーザ（例えばＩＤ番号が「１１３」の者）に提供することである。

上述の第１の提供態様となる特定ユーザに対する施設情報の提供について、図６〜図９を参照しつつ説明する。道路情報センタ１は、特定ユーザからのＩＤ番号およびパスワードの入力を受けると、図６に示すような表示を特定ユーザ（のディスプレイ２３）に提供、表示させる（図４の内容の表示）。図６の「戻る」のアイコンをクリックすると、施設情報提供のモードが終了されて、通常のナビゲーションの表示に戻る。図６の「修正」のアイコンをクリックすると、図６に表示されている表示内容が修正可能となり、修正後に「送信」をクリックすると、修正後の内容が道路情報センタ１に送信されて、道路情報センタ１に記憶されているＩＤ内容（個人情報）が修正、更新される。図６の「次へ」をクリックすると、図７の状態に表示が変更される。

図７において、「ユーザ情報修正」をクリックすると、図６に戻る。図７において、「施設検索」のアイコン、「ニュース」のアイコンあるいは「天気」のアイコンをクリックすることにより、対応する表示内容に変更される。「施設検索」のアイコンをクリックすると、図８の表示内容に変更される。図８は、検索範囲の選択、検索ジャンルの選択が可能となっている。図８の「戻る」のアイコンをクリックすると図７へ戻り、「検索」のアイコンをクリックすると、図９の表示内容に変更される。図９は、図８において「広島市東区」の地域範囲を選択すると共に「洋食」でかつ「イタリア」を選択してあるので、選択された地域範囲に存在するイタリア系の食事を提供する施設の一覧が表示される。

図９では、表示された各施設毎に、「登録」、「詳細」、「地図」、「設定」のアイコンが表示される。図９に表示された各施設の選択は、該当個所にチェックを入れることにより選択される。「○○亭」にチェックしている場合を例に説明すると、「登録」のアイコンをクリックすると、対応した施設となる「○○亭」が自分のお気に入りとして道路情報センタ１に登録される。「詳細」のアイコンをクリックすると、図３の列ｆに記載された「○○亭」についての詳細情報が表示される。「地図」のアイコンをクリックすると、「○○亭」付近の詳細地図が表示される。「設定」のアイコンをクリックすると、「○○亭」が目的地として設定されて、現在地から「○○亭」までの経路誘導が開始される。なお、図９の「登録」、「詳細」、「地図」、「設定」のアイコンをクリックしたときに表示される表示画面（図示略）には、それぞれ「戻る」のアイコンが設定されて、これをクリックすることによって図９の表示内容に戻ることになる。また、図９の「戻る」のアイコンをクリックすることによって、図８の表示内容に戻る。

図７の「お気に入り」をクリックすると、図１０に示すように、自分用のお気に入り登録されている内容の一覧が表示され、既にお気に入り登録されている各種の施設が表示される。表示されている各施設の選択は、該当する個所にチェックを入れることにより行われる。各施設毎に、「詳細」、「地図」、「設定」、「消去」のアイコンが表示されている。「○○亭」にチェックが入れられた場合を例に説明すると、「詳細」のアイコンをクリックすると、図３の列ｆに記載されている「○○亭」についての詳細情報が表示される。「地図」をクリックすると、「○○亭」付近の詳細地図が表示される。「設定」のアイコンをクリックすると、「○○亭」が目的地として設定されて、現在地から「○○亭」までの経路誘導が開始される。「消去」のアイコンをクリックすると、「○○亭」のお気に入り登録が道路情報センタ１から消去される。なお、図１０の「詳細」、「地図」、「設定」のアイコンをクリックしたときに表示される表示画面（図示略）には、それぞれ「戻る」のアイコンが設定されて、これをクリックすることによって図１０の表示内容に戻ることになる。また、図１０の戻るのアイコンをクリックすると、図７に戻る。

前述した図６〜図１０についての説明は、自分用にお気に入り登録されている施設情報の利用の手法（道路情報センタ１の前述した第１の提供態様での施設情報の提供の手法）である。第２の提供態様においては、図６、図７は前述の第１の提供態様と同じであるが、図７の「お気に入り参照」のアイコンをクリックすることによって、他人がお気に入り登録している施設情報の入手が可能となる。すなわち、図７の「お気に入り参照」をクリックすると、図１１の表示内容に変更される。この図１１では、他人がお気に入り登録している内容のうち、どのような内容の施設を検索するかを選択するための表示となっている。

図１１では、「範囲」（地域）と、「限定」つまりどのような人のお気に入り登録を利用するかの選択とが行われるようになっている。「限定」の項目としては、ユーザ属性の欄があり、これにチェックを入れると、自分と同一のユーザ属性を有する施設の選択となる。「同一のユーザ属性」の範囲は適宜設定できるが、例えば、年齢層の一致、性別の一致、家族構成のおおまかな一致等がある。「誘導済み」のチェック欄は、例えば過去１年以内に２回以上の経路誘導がある施設の選択となる。「設定ユーザ数」のチェック欄は、お気に入り登録しているユーザの数が３人以上であることの選択となる。「自宅近傍を除外」のチェック欄は、自宅近傍以外の施設のみの選択となる。図１１では、「ユーザ属性」と「誘導済」と「設定ユーザ数」とにそれぞれチェックが入れられた状態が示され、このチェックが入った条件下で、後述する施設の検索となる。なお、実施形態では、図１１の「限定」の各項目同士の関係はａｎｄ条件とされているが、ｏｒ条件として設定することもできる。

図１１の「ＯＫ」のアイコンをクリックすると、図１２の表示内容に変更される。この図１２では、検索ジャンルが絞り込まれる（選択される）ことになる。例えば、「食べる」というジャンルで、その下位概念の「洋食」かつ「イタリア」が検索条件として設定された場合（チェックされた場合）が示される。図１２の「検索」のアイコンをクリックすると、図１１の設定条件と、図１２の設定条件との両方の条件を満足する施設が、図１３に表示される。このように、他人がお気に入り登録してある施設情報は、検索条件に応じた内容のものが選択して提供されるが、この選択に際しては、図５に示すような各ユーザ毎に登録されている多数のお気に入り登録の内容を検索条件に応じて検索することにより行われることになる。

図１３では、図１１、図１２の内容でもって設定された検索条件の表示の他、検索の結果ヒットした（選択された）施設が表示される。表示された各施設のチェック欄にチェックを入れることによって、その施設の選択が行われる。各施設には、「登録」、「詳細」、「地図」、「設定」のアイコンが対応して表示されるが、その意味するところは、図９の場合と同様である。すなわち、例えば「設定」のアイコンをクリックしたときは、現在地からチェックされている施設に向けての経路誘導が開始される。
