扉パネルAは図1、図2に示すように左右の一対の縦框1と矩形板状の鏡板3と複数本の棧部材4と複数個の連結金具5とで構成されている。縦框1は合板よりなる芯材7の表面に木質単板からなる表面仕上げ材8を貼って形成されており、縦框1の内側の隅には上下方向に亙って切り欠き9を設けてある。縁部材6は樹脂にて断面ユ字状に形成されており、長手方向の全長に亙って嵌め込み溝2を形成してある。この縁部材6は切り欠き9に嵌め込んで接着等で固着してあり、縦框1の長手方向に亙って装着してある。このように縁部材6を縦框1の切り欠き9に装着して嵌め込み溝2を形成すると、縦框1に複雑な溝加工で嵌め込み溝2を形成するのに比べて容易にできて安価に加工できる。
