て含有するスモモヒメシンクイの誘引剤に関するもので
ある。 【0002】 【従来の技術】スモモヒメシンクイは、スモモの果実を
加害するスモモの重要害虫である。果実表面に産みつけ
られた卵は2〜3日後に孵化し、その直後、果実内に侵
入する。終令幼虫まで果実中で生息するため、殺虫剤が
害虫に届く期間、いわゆる防除適期は産卵から数日間と
非常短い。 【0003】害虫の防除適期を予測する方法としてフェ
ロモントラップが知られているが、本害虫の性フェロモ
ン及び性誘引物質に関する知見はなく、本害虫の発生予
察にフェロモントラップを用いることが出来なかった。
従って、現状のスモモ栽培においては、本害虫に対し予
防的に殺虫剤が散布されているが、上述の生態的特徴か
ら適期防除が実現せず被害発生を招き、さらに過剰な殺
虫剤が散布されるケースも少なくない。また、この過剰
散布が圃場中の天敵生物を殺し、ダニやカイガラムシ等
の二次害虫の発生を招くという問題もあった。 【0004】 【発明が解決しようとする課題】本発明の目的は、スモ
モヒメシンクイの発生状況を把握するのに有効な性フェ
ロモン物質を有効成分とする誘引剤を提供しようとする
ものである。 【0005】 【課題を解決するための手段】本発明者らは、上記課題
の解決のため、鱗翅目害虫に対して性フェロモン活性を
示す種々の化合物を用いてスクリーニングした結果、
(E)−8−ドデセニルアセテート(以下、E8−DD
Aとも略す。)と(Z)−8−ドデセニルアセテート(以
下、Z8−DDAとも略す。)の混合物で、その混合重
量比率が(20:80)〜(60:40)であるスモモ
ヒメシンクイの誘引剤が、本種の雄成虫を特異的に誘引
し、その結果、スモモヒメシンクイの発生予察が可能と
なることを見出し、本発明を完成するに至った。 【0006】 【発明の実施の形態】本発明の誘引剤に含まれる(E)
−8−ドデセニルアセテートと(Z)−8−ドデセニル
アセテートは、公知の方法により製造することができ
る。また、(E)−8−ドデセニルアセテートと(Z)
−8−ドデセニルアセテートとの混合重量比率は、(2
0:80)〜(60:40)であることを要する。この
範囲を外れると、スモモヒメシンクイの誘引ができなく
なるからである。 【0007】本発明の誘引剤の使用に際し、ブチルヒド
ロキシトルエン、ブチルヒドロキシアニソール、ハイド
ロキノン、ビタミンE等の抗酸化剤や2−ヒドロキシー
4−オクトキシベンゾフェノン等の紫外線吸収剤を適量
加えても良い。適量とは、E8−DDAとZ8−DDA
との合計重量に対して、例えば、抗酸化剤は1〜5重量
%であり、紫外線吸収剤は1〜5重量%である。 【0008】本発明の誘引剤は、有効成分の一定量の放
出を長期間にわたり持続させるために、ゴム、ポリエチ
レン、ポリプロピレン、エチレン−酢酸ビニル共重合

組成及びその使用量を示した。これらに2.0重量%の
ブチルヒドロキシトルエンを添加したものをそれぞれイ
ソプレンより成るゴムキャップに担持させ一晩放置後、
白色粘着型トラップに取り付けた。各誘引剤がセットさ
れた各トラップを、スモモヒメシンクイの発生が認めら
れるスモモ圃場に5m間隔で、目通りの高さに吊した。
5日に一度の間隔でそれぞれのトラップに捕獲されたス
モモヒメシンクイ雄成虫の数を数えた。5月〜9月まで
