Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a method which enables to insert an endoscope into a deep part of bowel such as small intestine. SOLUTION: A new method for inserting an endoscope into a small intestine is developed which adopts a soft sliding tube to prevent a bowel from extending by maintaining it with balloons. In addition, the tube with balloons is made to be used safely and effectively.

深の挿入不能は内視鏡の有効長不足のためであり、腸管
屈曲のためではなかった。第4症例では有効長2mの内
視鏡と140cmのオーバーチューブを用いたところ、
盲腸までの内視鏡挿入が可能であり、バウヒン弁から約
1mのところにメッケル憩室と思われる憩室と、その開

小腸ポリープ、粘膜腫瘍に対する内視鏡的切除術、小腸
の狭窄病変に対する拡張術やステンティング等の治療目
的に使用可能と考えられる。本発明の使用により、これ
までは開腹手術を必要としたものも内視鏡治療が行える
可能性を秘めている。本発明は小腸以外でも例えば通常
の方法で挿入不可能な症例における大腸内視鏡検査等に
使用可能である。また、本発明のチューブ挿入後チュー
ブを残して内視鏡を抜去し、様々な処置具のルートとし
ても使用可能である。
