Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.低屈折率を有する金属酸化物および高屈折率を有する金属酸化物の交互層で 被覆されている透明担体材料からなり、この屈折率の差が少なくとも0.1である 多層干渉性顔料であって、湿式法により、相当する水溶性金属化合物を加水分解 することによって、低屈折率を有する金属酸化物および高屈折率を有する金属酸 化物を透明担体材料に交互に塗布し、分離し、乾燥させ、次いで所望により生成 する顔料を焼成することによって得られる、前記多層干渉性顔料。 2.透明担体材料が、雲母、各種フィロケイ酸塩、薄片状ガラス、PbCO3×Pb(O H)2、BiOClまたは小片状SiOであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の干渉性 顔料。 3.高屈折率を有する酸化物が、TiO2、ZrO2、Fe2O3、Fe3O4、Cr2O3またはZnO、 あるいはこれらの酸化物の混合物、あるいはチタン酸鉄、水化鉄酸化物またはチ タン亜酸化物あるいはこれらの化合物の混合物または混合相であることを特徴と する、請求項1又は2に記載の干渉性顔料。 4.低屈折率を有する金属酸化物が、SiO2、Al2O3、AlOOH、B2O3あるいはその混 合物であり、所望により、追加の成分として、アルカリ金属酸化物およびアルカ リ土類金属酸化物を存在させることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載 の干渉性顔料。 5.請求項1〜4に記載の顔料を製造する方法であって、透明担体材料を水中に懸 濁し、次いで対応する水溶性金属化合物の添加および加水分解による、高屈折率 を有する水化金属酸化物および低屈折率を有する水化金属酸化物を交互に被覆し 、この際に、各水化金属酸化物の沈殿に必要なpHを酸または塩基の添加により確 立し、一定に保持し、次いでこの被覆された担体材料を水性懸濁液から分離採取 し、乾燥させ、次いで所望により、焼成することを特徴とする、前記方法。 6.透明担体材料が、雲母、各種フィロケイ酸塩、薄片状ガラス、PbCO3×Pb(O H)2、BiOClまたは小片状SiOであることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の製造方 法。 7.高屈折率を有する酸化物が、TiO2、ZrO2、Fe2O3、Fe3O4、Cr2O3ま たはZnOであることを特徴とする、請求項5および6のいずれかに記載の方法。 8.低屈折率を有する金属酸化物が、SiO2、Al2O3、AlOOH、B2O3あるいはその混 合物であり、所望により、追加の成分として、アルカリ金属酸化物およびアルカ リ土類金属酸化物を存在させることを特徴とする、請求項5〜7のいずれかに記載 の方法。 9.金属酸化物を、被覆する材料の中間乾燥の後に、CVDにより流動床反応器中 で施すことを特徴とする、請求項5〜8のいずれかに記載の方法。 10.請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の顔料の、有色塗料、印刷インキ、プラステ ィック類、化粧品、セラミックおよびガラス用釉における使用。 11.顔料を市販顔料との混合物として使用することを特徴とする、請求項10に 記載の使用。 12.請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の顔料のプラスティックスのレーザーマーキ ングにおける使用。 13.請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の顔料により着色されている塗料、印刷イン キ、プラスティックス、化粧品、セラミックおよびガラス。 14.請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の顔料を含有するレーザー−マーク可能なプ ラスティック。
