Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.1個以上の細長い品物が貫通する物体の開口を封止するシールにおいて、 (a)少なくとも2個の圧力部材と、 (b)開口を封止する少なくとも2個のシール部材であって、少なくとも2個 のシール部材の少なくとも1個の少なくとも一部が、使用時に少なくとも2個の 圧力部材の間に配置される少なくとも2個のシール部材と、 (c)圧力部材を互いにより近接するように移動させることによって、使用時 にシール部材を圧縮するする圧縮手段と を備えて、又、使用時に、細長い品物が少なくとも2個のシール部材の間を延 在し、更に、シール部材が、細長い品物が延在する方向に対して側方方向に互い に近傍に配置されると共に、シール部材が圧縮手段によって圧縮される時に互い に、且つ、細長い品物と封止接触するように構成されたシール。 2.シール部材が、 (i)使用時に開口の周面内に配置されて、物体と封止接触する少なくとも1 個の外方シール部材と、 (ii)使用時に外方シール部材の側方内側に配置される少なくとも1個の内方 シール部材と を備える請求項1に記載のシール。 3.外方シール部材が、単独又は組合せで大略円形又は長円形のリングから成る 請求項2に記載のシール。 4.内方シール部材が、単独又は組合せで大略円形又は長円形の側方周面を有す る請求項2又は3に記載のシール。 5.シール部材が弛緩した非変形状態にある時、外方シール部材の内径は、内方 シール部材の外径と少なくとも同じ大きさであって、該外径より5mm以下だけ 大きい請求項3に従属する請求項4に記載のシール。 6.外方シール部材が、外方シール部材を開口に配置するための少なくとも1個 の溝を側方外周に有する請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載のシール。 7.少なくとも2個の内方シール部材を設けて、又、内方シール部材の各々が 夫々の圧力部材に止着される請求項1乃至6のいずれかに記載のシール。 8.少なくとも1個の圧力部材が、使用時に細長い品物が貫通する1個以上の開 口部を有する請求項1乃至7のいずれかに記載のシール。 9.1個以上の開口部が、使用時に細長い品物が挿入される1個以上のスロット を備え、更に、スロットは、圧力部材の側方外周に開口していると共に、該側方 外周から延在する請求項8に記載のシール。 10.少なくとも1個の圧力部材が、更に係止部材を備え、又、係止部材は、ス ロットを閉鎖することにより、スロットに挿入された1個以上の細長い品物を係 止するように、圧力部材の側方外周に止着自在である請求項9に記載のシール。 11.1個以上の細長い品物が貫通する物体の開口を封止するシールにおいて、 (a)少なくとも2個の圧力部材であって、少なくとも2個の圧力部材の少な くとも1個が、使用時に細長い品物が挿入される1個以上のスロットを有し、更 に、スロットは、圧力部材の側方外周に開口していると共に、該側方外周から延 在する少なくとも2個の圧力部材と、 (b)開口を封止する少なくとも1個のシール部材であって、少なくとも1個 のシール部材の少なくとも一部が、使用時に少なくとも2個の圧力部材の間に配 置される少なくとも1個のシール部材と、 (c)圧力部材を互いにより近接するように移動させることによって、使用時 にシール部材を圧縮するする圧縮手段と、 (d)スロットを閉鎖することにより、スロットに挿入された1個以上の細長 い品物を係止するように、圧力部材の側方外周に止着自在である少なくとも1個 の係止部材と を備えるシール。 12.各圧力部材が大略円形の側方外周を有し、又、各係止部材が大略円形の側 方内周を有する請求項10又は11に記載のシール。 13.各係止部材が夫々の圧力部材の側方外周の少なくとも一部の回りを摺動す るように、各係止部材を夫々の圧力部材に摺動自在に止着し得る請求項12に記 載のシール。 14.各係止部材がスリットを備え、又、使用時に、係止部材が止着されている 圧力部材のスロットに少なくとも1個の細長い品物を挿入するために、細長い品 物がスリットに挿通され、更に、複数の挿入を順に行うためにスリットを順に複 数のスロットの各々の近傍に配置するように、係止部材が圧力部材に対して摺動 自在である請求項13に記載のシール。 15.各係止部材が大略環状の形状を有する請求項12乃至14のいずれかに記 載のシール。 16.各係止部材が、圧力部材の側方外周の少なくとも1個の溝及び/又は該側 方外周の少なくとも1個の突起に配置されることによって、夫々の圧力部材に止 着自在である請求項10乃至15のいずれかに記載のシール。 17.使用時に、各係止部材は、係止部材が止着されている圧力部材の側方延長 部として働くことによって、シール部材の少なくとも1個、好ましくは、少なく とも1個の外方シール部材の圧縮に寄与する請求項10乃至16のいずれかに記 載のシール。 18.圧縮手段が、圧力部材の間を延在して該圧力部材を互いに連結する少なく とも1個の接続部材を備える請求項1乃至17のいずれかに記載のシール。 19.圧縮手段が、単一の軸方向中心接続部材を備える請求項18に記載のシー ル。 20.圧縮手段が少なくとも2個のハウジング部を備え、更に、ハウジング部は 、使用時にシールを少なくとも部分的に囲繞すると共に、圧力部材を互いにより 近接するように移動させることによりシール部材が圧縮されるように、互いに移 動及び固定される請求項1乃至17のいずれかに記載のシール。 21.ハウジング部が、ハウジング部上の互いに螺合するねじ山又は差込み取付 け具によって、互いに移動及び固定される請求項20に記載のシール。 22.光ファイバ又は導電体の1個以上のスプライス部又は接続部を収容する密 閉容器において、 密閉容器の壁に請求項1乃至21のいずれかに記載の少なくとも1個のシール を備える密閉容器。 23.1個以上の細長い品物が貫通する物体の開口を請求項9乃至17のいずれ かに記載のシールによって封止する方法において、 (a)細長い品物を少なくとも1個の圧力部材のスロットに挿入する工程と、 (b)シール部材を開口に挿入する工程と、 (c)圧縮手段で圧力部材を互いにより近接するように移動させることによっ て、圧力部材の間のシール部材を圧縮する工程と を備える方法。 24.請求項10乃至17のいずれかに記載のシールを用いて、工程(a)が、 圧力部材の側方外周に止着される係止部材によって、細長い品物を圧力部材のス ロットに係止する作業を更に含む請求項23に記載の方法。 25.請求項14に記載のシールを用いて、工程(a)が、係止部材のスリット をスロットの近傍に配置する作業と、細長い品物をスリットに挿通すると共にス ロットに挿入する作業と、スリットをスロットから離隔移動させるために係止部 材を圧力部材に対して摺動させる作業とを備える請求項24に記載の方法。 26.複数の細長い品物が各圧力部材に挿入及び係止されると共に、各々の細長 い品物に対して工程(a)を順に繰返す請求項25に記載の方法。
