Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.繊維の表面に直接ダイアモンド状の炭素被膜を沈着させることを特徴とす るアラミド繊維の曲げ剛性を改善する方法。 2.アラミド繊維はポリ(p−フェニレンテレフタルアミド)から構成されて いることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。 3.ラジオ周波数のプラズマを用いる化学蒸着法により繊維の表面に直接ダイ アモンド状の炭素被膜を沈着させることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。 4.被覆しないアラミド繊維に比べて曲げ剛性が増加されることを特徴とする 請求項1記載の方法。 5.少なくとも1GPaの最高応力において実質的に降伏を起こさないことを 特徴とするダイアモンド状の炭素で被覆されたアラミド繊維。 6.繊維はポリ(p−フェニレンテレフタルアミド)から構成されていること を特徴とする請求項5記載のアラミド繊維。
