L’invenzione si riferisce alla materia che riguarda i natanti, e precisamente i pedalò. Chiamasi pedalò, perché il movimento all'imbarcazione viene trasmesso da ruote a pale racchiuse in un tamburo e spinte da un sistema di pedali, tramite un asse a cui sono collegati. Il pedalò ha due scafi gemelli e presenta due tipologie a due, tre o quattro sedili, e, dunque per due, tre o quattro passeggeri normodotati. Il dispositivo trasmette il movimento attraverso un sistema di rinvìi a trasmissione, con partenza da un supporto (12) munito di maniglie (1) e di puleggia (15), posto all’altezza delle braccia del soggetto disabile. Attraverso un piantone di forma adeguata ed un sistema di pulegge (15-19) e cinghia dentata (3), trasmette il movimento ad un rinvio (2), posto sulla plancia dello scafo; da qui viene poi trasmesso, sempre con puleggia (17) e cinghia dentate ( 4 ) all’asse dei pedali (11) dotato di puleggia (20) e di conseguenza alla pala di movimentazione. Il dispositivo può essere regolato angolarmente, determinandone la posizione più comoda, e bloccato poi con pomelli a vite (13), può altresì, mediante un innesto (12) esser regolato assialmente, allo scopo di permettere la giusta tensione alla cinghia. E prevista anche la possibilità di asportare la pedaliera ( quella originale, collegata direttamente alla pala ), per rendere più agevole l’abitabilità della persona disabile ed evitare che ostacoli in qualche modo lo spazio destinato ai suoi piedi. In tal caso la pedaliera viene sostituita da un alberino opportuno, che ne ripristina il funzionamento, senza procurare difficoltà all’altra postazione in aiuto. Alla richiesta di utilizzo dell’imbarcazione, per utenti nonnodotati, la pedaliera può essere ripristinata per il tramite del reinnesto del nuovo alberino sagomato (8).
