Abstract

The supercharger device comprises a positive displacement rotary supercharger (13) inserted on the induction manifold (10) of an engine (M). The supercharger is constantly driven by the engine shaft. The capacity and thus the delivery pressure of the supercharger is variable by virtue of a controlled variation of the geometry of a pump of the supercharger. The pump comprises a stator cylinder (14), a rotor (15), and vanes (115).
