Abstract
1369119 Rotary positive-displacement pumps ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 17 May 1972 [18 May 1971 30 June 1971] 23092/72 Heading F1F A vane-type air-pump for an I.C. engine exhaust system has its rotor 7 driven by a D.C. electric motor 2, which is cooled by air entering the pump by way of an inlet 14 and passage 15. The rotor is hollow, attached to a hub 8 on the shaft 9 of the motor and co-operates with vanes 5 carried by roller bearings on a fixed pin 4.
