Abstract

The invention refers to a method for making dental prosthetic articles by sintering metal powders. The method according to the invention envisages the following phases: - creation of a model of the prosthetic parts to make in the usual refractory material; - distribution directly on the model of the prosthetic part of a layer of metal powders commonly used in dental practice; - modelling the layer of powder in accordance with the part to make; - sintering of said layer of powder in a furnace in which there is an inert or reducing atmosphere. According to the invention, the above-mentioned method can also be used for making corrections, modifications and repairs, for making supports or inlays, and welds of prosthetic parts or elements, requiring the addition -even locally - of further material on pre-existing elements.
