Abstract

A leveller comprises a female element 2, 21 and a male element 3; the female element 2, 21 is formed by a socket having a threaded hole 4, supported and able to move in a shell 5, 22 which is attached to a wall of a piece of furniture; the male element 3 is formed by a threaded dowel, engaging with the threaded hole 4 and rotationally supported in a seat 13 of the shell 5, 22, such that relative axial displacements between dowel 3 and shell 5, 22 are prevented and rotations of the dowel 3 are permitted to control telescopic travel of the socket relative to the shell; the threaded dowel 3 has a polygon slot 14 able to engage with an operating feature.
