Abstract

The invention pertains to a shock absorber of the type comprising a hollow cylindrical body and a stem coaxial with it and able to move together with it, under hermetic seal, carrying an attached plunger defining two chambers containing a compressible or incompressible fluid. The plunger is hollow on the inside and has ports for drawing fluid between the two chambers. In the stem, a rod can travel, carrying a shutter element able to shut the ports. The shock absorber is characterised by the fact that the rod is associated with cam-type means of actuation of translatory motion with cable control. <IMAGE>
