Abstract

Il complesso di rivestimento pensato particolarmente ma non esclusivamente per giunti di cavi elettrici, comprende un manicotto in materiale elastomerico, un supporto su cui il manicotto è calzato in condizione di dilatazione elastica, tale manicotto essendo destinato a serrarsi sugli elementi cilindrici allungati in seguito alla rimozione del supporto. Il supporto comprende un corpo tubolare costituito da una striscia di materiale flessibile resistente, avvolta secondo un'elica avente spire adiacenti reciprocamente vincolate, le spire essendo separabili e seguito di una trazione in direzione sostanzialmente longitudinale applicata ad una porzione terminale di striscia separata delle spire adiacenti e svolta all'interno del corpo tubolare in direzione sostanzialmente assiale, estesa fino ad uscire dall'estremità opposta del corpo tubolare stesso. Il corpo tubolare comprende almeno due zone in cui l'elica ha passo differente, una zona a passo fine ed una zona a passo grosso; una zona a passo fine è prevista in corrispondenza di porzioni particolari degli elementi cilindrici allungati ai quali il complesso di rivestimento è destinato.
