Abstract

In un dispositivo per la frenatura di un cilindro rotante, per esempio di un tamburo, in una macchina per la preparazione alla filatura, per esempio apri balle, pulitrice, carda o carda per lana, è previsto un dispositivo di frenatura del cilindro azionabile elettricamente.Per creare un dispositivo di frenatura che consenta una riduzione del tempo di rallentamento del cilindro da frenare, con adattamento alle condizioni di frenatura, e che sia esente da usura e manutenzione, come motore di azionamento per il cilindro viene impiegato un motore asincrono, il cui avvolgimento di statore, attraverso un dispositivo di commutazione, è posto in collegamento con una sorgente di corrente alternata e con un dispositivo per la generazione di corrente continua, il dispositivo di commutazione consentendo di commutare dalla sorgente di corrente alternata al dispositivo per la generazione di corrente continua o viceversa.
