Abstract
Crusher has a housing (31) having a hopper (32) at its upper end and a discharge opening (33) at its lower end. A drive shaft (37) extends horizontally within the housing carrying first rotatable blades (38) for roughly crushing the material and second rotatable blades (39) for finely crushing the material. Cover member (43) surrounds the lower parts of the first rotating blades to prevent roughly crushed material from falling through the discharge opening. Used for crushing waste pvc, acrylic, or polyethylene resins into pellets for mixing with virgin pellets to form new resin prods. Prior crushers have had two sets of cutters mounted one above the other. New arrangement is simpler and more compact.
