Description

OP COMPARTMENTS WITHIN CONTAINERS This Invention relates generally to bottles two or more separate oompartments It is generally well known that it is quite impossible to internal oompartments in a one step bottle production with the present day Thus the only method to internal oompartmented bottles has been to a secondary or additional compartments to the initial bottle by adhesion In the advancement of modern technology in other multiple oompartmented bottles are a and an improved method of their production has been in it is a prinoipal of the present invention to provide an Improved bottle design whioh overoomes the above Another object is to provide a multiple oompartment bottle wherein a secondary oompartment is produced within a plug to so to allow the bottle body to molded in a one step yet the final product comprising a multiple oompartmented Another is to provide a multiple oompartment bottle wherein a seoondary oompartment is produoed by a seoondary vessel oontained within the Other are to provide a multiple oompartmented bottl whioh is simple in inexpensive to rugged in easy to use and i These and other will be readily evident upon a study of following specification and the accompanying drawing wherein Figure 1 is a side view of one form of the shown partly in cross Figure 2 is a similar view of a modified of the Figures 4 and 5 are similar views of yet further modified forms Figure 6 is a oross sectional view o a modified plug unit shown Figure 7 is a side cross seotional view of a bell and Figure 8 is a side oross seotional view yet another modified form of the bottle Referring now to the drawing in and more particularly to the referenoe numeral 10 represents a bottle with two or more separate oompartments according to the present wherein there is a bottle body 11 including a continuous side wall upwardly oonioal bottom wall and threaded neok 14 having aooess opening 15 therethrough whioh communioates with interior compartment A secondary opening 17 in the wall 13 may be plugged in various A plug 18 may have a secondary oompartment 19 formed A head 20 of the plu limi the introduction dlstanoe of the plug into the opening Referring now to figure if plug 21 has a seoondary chamber 22 whioh is too large to be inserted from the the plug may be dropped into the bottle 23 through the top Opening The plug inoludes a threaded shank extending out of bottle opening 26 for receiving a washer 27 and nut thus scouring plug in fixed plug could as shown in figure with an internally extending threaded shank 25a om the outer side through the opening 26 for threadingly engaging a threaded opening 29 formed on the seoondary oompartment body received through the top opening into the In figure a modi ied bottle 30 is oomprlsed of two parts 31 and 32 threadingly the latter part comprising a one pieoe molded base incorporating a oompartment In figure a modified bottle is similar to bottle 30 but it inoludes an outwardly flanged portion 41 on each pat whioh may be oompartmented by a oonoentrio wall formed on one the wall the flange of the other This circular wall would be spaced from threaded external In figure a bottl is shown oomprised of parts 51 and 52 threadingly seoured the base part 51 seoondary oompartment The figure depiots how various seoondary oompartments may be enclosed by a bell shaped as the seoondary oompartment from the primary oompartment of th The oap 54 inoludes a 55 extendin into the and outwardly therethrough for manual oontrol of the In figure a modified construction shows a bell shaped 70 enolosing a seoondary oompartment unit 71 oomprised of oompartments 72 and the oap arresting oontaot of contents between the two seoondary In figure a bottle 80 inoludes primary bottle 81 with raised oonoentrio bead 8 inner of bottom wall 83 so to form a seat for separate bottle 84 comprising a seoondary insufficientOCRQuality

Claims (4)

A bell eap 85 includes inner and outer lips 86 and 87 enclosing therebetween the upper edge 88 of the secondar bottle. The bell stem 89 abuts at its upper end against primary bottle cap 90; the upper end of the stem forming an enlarged head 91 so to allow convenient manual grasp thereof. The cap 90 has a conical depression on its underside within which the stem head 91 seats itself. C L A I M S I
1. A multicompartmented bottle assembly comprising an outer primary container of homogeneous integral construction in combination with a smaller open. top secondary vessel mounted removably and completely within the primary container wherein said primary container has an externally threaded neck adapted to receive a closure cap and a bottom aperture said secondary vessel being of smaller external dimension than the internal dimensio of said neck and being mounted in said bottom aperture, in further combination with means or securing the secondary vessel to the primary container.
2. An assembly as in claim wherein the seconiary vessel fits through the bottom aperture and is mounted wholly within the primary container*
3. An assembly as in claim 2 wherein the secondary vessel is part of a plug which fits sealingly in the said aperture and includes a head for limiting the insertion of said plug in the aperture to a predetermined distance*
4. An assembly as. in claim 1 wherein the secondary vessel includes a tapered shank adapted to fit abuttingly through said aperture and said means being mounted externally of said container on said, shank to force the shank into sealing contact vith the portion of the container surrounding the aperture* Tel-Aviv, 9th October, 1968 AGENT FOR APPLICANT
