Abstract
1479757 Cartons; egg boxes BRODRENE HARTMANN AS 21 Aug 1974 [31 Aug 1973] 36759/74 Heading B8P In a packing carton, e.g. for eggs, which comprises hinged together a container member 1, a lid member 2, and a closing flap 15 which is hinged to one of the container and lid members and in the closed position extends within and engages the other member by means of fastening projection(s) 16 and interlocking aperture(s) 18, at least one of the hinge portions is provided with slot shaped apertures (indicated at 19) distributed along the hinge portion, the spacing between the apertures being greater than the lengths of the apertures and there being a respective aperture at each end of the hinge portion. The apertures may be covered by respective projections (Figs. 2 and 3, not shown) which are U-shaped in cross-section transverse to the hinge line and extend inwardly of the packing carton.
