Abstract

1479756 Boxes BRODRENE HARTMANN AS 13 Aug 1974 [31 Aug 1973] 35549/74 Heading B8P A carton for eggs or the like has a continuous portion 1 with egg pockets 4, a lid portion 2 hinged to the container by an articular fold 3, and a closing flap 15 hinged to the container by a further articular fold 14 to allow projections 16 to enter apertures 18 in the front wall 17 of lid 2. Projections 19 are provided at intervals along the folds 3, 14 and prevent excessive folding so that projections 16 may firmly engage the apertures 18. Lid 2 has inspection holes 10 in a sunken lid section 7 between gable portions 6. Projections 12 on section 7 engage bearing surfaces 11 on pillars 5 defining pockets 4.
