Abstract

1400999 Pharmaceutical aerosol composition ALLEN & HANBURYS Ltd 23 Oct 1972 [19 Nov 1971] 53750/71 Heading C4X [Also in Divisions A5 and C2] Compounds of the general Formula I and physiologically acceptable addition salts thereof, in which R 1 , R 2 , R 4 and R 5 each represents a hydrogen atom, or a C 1 -C 6 alkyl or C 2 -C 6 alkenyl group optionally substituted by one or more aryl groups, R 3 represents hydrogen or a C 1 -C 6 alkyl group, and R 1 may additionally represent a C 1 -C 6 acyl group and R 4 and R 5 may additionally represent a cycloalkyl or aryl group are used in pharmaceutical compositions which may be prepared in the form of an aerosol spray. An example describes the preparation of an inhalation aerosol from 2- amino - 5 - methyl - 7 - propyl - imidazo[5,1- f]-cis-triazine-4(3H)-one, sorbitan trioleate, trichlorofluoromethane and dichlorodifluoromethane (Ex. 12).
