Abstract
Un método para reducir los niveles de cianuro en una muestra de mesotriona, en donde dicho método comprende: (i) tomar una solución acuosa de la muestra de mesotriona en un disolvente acuoso, (ii) ajustar el pH de dicha solución acuosa a un valor de 9,5 o mayor, y (iii) cristalizar la mesotriona a partir de la solución.
