Claims (8)

  1. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines schlagfesten Styrolharzes, welches die durch Polymerisation in Masse, Suspensionspolymerisation oder Lösungspolymerisation durchgeführte radikalische Polymerisation von 2 bis 25 Gew.-Teilen eines selektiv partiell hydrierten Butadienpolymeren mit 98 bis 75 Gew.-Teilen eines Styrolmonomeren oder eines Gemisches eines Styrolmonomeren und eines mit dem Styrolmonomeren copolymerisierbaren Monomeren umfaßt, wobei das selektiv partiell hydrierte Butadienpolymere aufweist:
    (1) einen Gehalt an gebundenem Styrol [S] von 0 bis 40 Gew.-%;
    (2) einen Gehalt an Vinylbindungen [V] von 1 bis 80% im Butadiengehalt;
    (3) ein Gewichtsmittel des Molekulargewichts (Mw) von 10.000 bis 1.000.000; und
    (4) eine Molekulargewichtsverteilung (Mw/Mn) von 1,2 bis 5,0;
    und das Butadienpolymere
    (5) einen Hydrierungsgrad [A] von 3 bis 85% des gesamten Butadienanteils; und
    (6) einen Hydrierungsgrad [B] von 20% oder mehr an der Einheit der Vinylbindung des Butadienanteils hat.
  2. Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 1, wobei nach der selektiven partiellen Hydrierung der Gehalt an nicht-hydrierten 1,2-Vinylbindungen 0,5 bis 12% und der Gehalt an nicht-hydrierten 1,4-Bindungen mindestens 10% beträgt.
  3. Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 1, wobei das Butadienpolymere, das partiell hydriert wird, enthält:
    (1) einen Gehalt an gebundenem Styrol [S] von 0 bis 30 Gew.-%;
    (2) einen Gehalt an Vinylbindungen [V] von 5 bis 60% im Butadienanteil;
    (3) ein Gewichtsmittel des Molekulargewichts (Mw) von 50.000 bis 800.000; und
    (4) eine Molekulargewichtsverteilung (Mw/Mn) von 1,5 bis 3,0.
  4. Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 1, wobei das Butadien, das hydriert wird, ein Butadienhomopolymeres oder ein Styrol-Butadien-Copolymeres mit einem Styrolanteil von 30 Gew.-% oder weniger ist.
  5. Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Harzzusammensetzung, welches das Vermengen eines schlagfesten Styrolharzes, das gemäß einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4 erhalten wurde, mit einem thermoplastischen Harz umfaßt.
  6. Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 5, wobei das thermoplastische Harz ein Polyphenylenetherharz ist.
