Abstract

The present invention relates to the production of solid bio-fuel (pallets, briquettes etc) from biomass derived from wild cynara cultivations as well as to the production of power or heat applicable in domestic and industrial scale. Advantages: multiplication of the profit gained by agricultural exploitation, creation of new labour places in the countryside, production of bio-fuel which proves to be less expensive than heating petroleum and natural gas, protection from international monopoles, savings in exchange cost, and positive environmental consequences (protection against the greenhouse phenomenon and soil erosion, avoidance of land devastation, increase of soil fertility, reduction of nitro-pollutants and agro-chemicals, and savings in water). Seat of the industrial production unit: Palamas karditsas-Greece.
